1952 <br />hearing on the proposed improvement of Lindig Avenue as <br />platted from the north line of Larpenteur Avenue to a <br />point 1,267.25 feet north of Larpenteur Ave~e by the <br />installation and construction of a sanitary sewer <br />system and laterals, and, <br />WHEREAS, ten days published notice of hearing through <br />two weekly publications of the required notice was given, <br />and mailed notice required by statutes was given, and the <br />hearing was held thereon on the 26th day of June 1963, at <br />which all persons desiring to be heard were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon, <br />NONE, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights s <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed <br />iri the Council resolution adopted June 3, 1963. <br />2. Bonestroo, Rosene and Associates are hereby <br />designated as the engineers for this improvement, <br />They shall prepare plans and specifications fob the <br />making of such improv®ment. <br />Adopted by the Council this 2bth day of June 1963. <br />~, ~ rtenson, lark <br />Harold Nilsen, yor <br />Special Meetings Nilsen moved and Shavor seconded that the Village Council <br />hold a special meeting on July 3rd at 8s00 P.M. Carried. <br />Construction of Storage Stone moved, Shavor seconded that the engineer be <br />Garage, etc.s authorized to draw up plans for the purpose of con- <br />struction of a storage gashage, maintenance shop, and <br />fire tower. Carried. <br />i~ <br />Lido application: The council decided that unless the Lido Cafe wishes to <br />press the matter of application for displaying bottled <br />liquor in their cafe, the matter would be dropped, <br />inasmuch as an ordinance would have to be passed <br />restricting such use. <br />Maintenance man -Brush Stone moved, seconded by Nilsen that Mr. Quarn be authorized <br />and tree removals to have the trees and brush hauled away -the expense not <br />to exceed $60.00. Carried. <br />Hermes -Fence: N. L. Hermes submitted a sketch of a fenca by Chelgren. <br />The Council tabled any action until further investigation. <br />Swim het donated to The deputy clerk was instructed to acknowledge with <br />Playground: appreciation the donation made by Bernie Rechtiene of <br />1lt8l~ West Iowa. The wring set has been placed on the <br />playground at Idaho and Snelling Avenues. <br />
