2107 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF MAY 13, 196, <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7sa0 P.M. with the following <br />members being present: Mayor Harold C. Nilsen; Clerk W. A. Mortensen; <br />Trustees Willis Warkentien and William Black. Also present were Engineer <br />Brad Lemberg, Attorney Miehasl Galvin, Treasurer William E.Olsen, and Deputy <br />Clerk Tina Vavouli.s. Absent: Charles P. Stone, Trustee. <br />Mrs, Rodney Olson was present representing the League of Women Voters. Miss <br />Lois Holtz of Suburban Life Newspaper was also present. <br />Motion was made by Black, and seconded by Nilsen that the minutes of the meeting <br />of April 22 be approved as read. Motion was carried. <br />Correspondences <br />Chet Junki.n Goncession Company requested permission <br />Request for transfer of to transfer has ~On-Sa1e~ Beer License #65 from <br />Beer Licens®: the Grandstand $ui1 ding to the Hippodrome for May <br />30, 19b4. Mortensen moved approval of the transfer <br />subject to the acceptance of transfer by the Super- <br />intendent of Space Rentals of tine Minnesota State <br />Fair, Harold Johnston. Motion was seconded by <br />Black and carried. <br />N.L. Hermes -Alley <br />Bituminous Extraction: Letter of April 23 from Samuel M. Koritz, Attorney <br />for Mr. Hermes wrote advising that sample of as~alt <br />taken from alley met the Minnesota Highway Department <br />specifications, Copy of report was enclosed and is <br />on file in the Clerks Office. <br />Ramsey County League - May 12th letter regarding Sewerage Study Committee <br />Sewerage Study Committee: was read. Inasmuch as Otto Bonestroo represents <br />the Village of Falcon Heights on a technical study <br />of the same nature, the letter was referred to him. <br />North Oaks Municipal Request for payment of court costs due North Oaks <br />Court - Lloyd Purcell: was referred to Attorney Galvin. <br />Application for Off-Sale Mortensen moved that application for license to <br />Beer License by Blomberg sell non-intoxicating malt liquor off-sale be <br />Foods: approved for Carl Blomberg of Blomberg Foods, Inc, <br />Motion. was seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote <br />being taken, motion was carried. <br />Bethel College - The following resolution was introduced by Black and <br />Proposed Apartment seconded by Mortensen: <br />Building: <br />WHEREAS the Village Council has reviewed the <br />Bethel College plot plan No. 57b2~, and architectural <br />drawings, and <br />WHEREAS said revised plot plan and architectural <br />drawings substantially comply with those previously <br />approved by the Village Council at its meeting of <br />April 22, 196l~, <br />Nt~l, ZHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village <br />Council of Falcon Heights tip t said variance application <br />
