213l~ <br />1 <br />1 <br />Storage of Contractor's Attorney Galvin advised that it appears that <br />Building Materialst Contractor Robert ~estlund is violating Ordinanc® <br />bl by storing building materials on his property located <br />at 1781 No. Hamline Avenue. It appears that this <br />violation is occurring on other properties also. <br />Galvin will contact violators. <br />Bingo Game Permit Galvin advised that the laws of Minnesota, Chapter <br />St. Paul Student 611-05l~, provide that a bingo game may be conducted <br />Center - University by religious, charitable, fraternal or other <br />of Minnesota: associations, not organized for pbcuniary profit and <br /> existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota if <br /> the rroceeds therefrom do not inure to the prof it of <br /> any one individual.. It is further provided that <br /> before such association can conduct a bingo game they <br /> must give 30 days written notice of the time and place <br /> thereof to the governing body of the governmental <br /> subdivision in which it intends to conduct such game <br /> and tdze governing body does not pass a resolution <br /> objecting. <br />Area Chambers of Mortenson advised council members of an invitation <br />Commerce Barbecue: from the Falcon Heights Businessmen's Association <br />to attend a barbecue at Midway Stadium on August 6th <br />from 5:00 P.P~. to 9:00 P.M. as guests of this Assoc- <br />iation. This Chambers of Commerce of St. Paul and <br />surrounding areas are to be in attendant®. <br />Bills: Stone moved, seconded by Black that the following <br />bills be paids <br />Commissioner of Taxation - State WH 75.70 <br />Internal Revenue Service - Fedl.
