2135 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF AU GUST 12, 196t~ <br />The regular meeting of the Village Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M. <br />with the following members presents Mayer Harold C, Nilsen; Trustees Willis <br />Warkentien and Charles Stone. Also present were Engineer Brad Lemberg, Treasurer <br />William E. Olsen, and Deputy Clerk Tina Vavoulis. Absents Clerk W. A, Mortenson <br />and Trustee William Black. <br />Mrs. S, Kirkwood was present for the League of Vifornen Voters. <br />Stone moved, seconded by Warkentien that the minutes of the meeting of July 22 be <br />approved. Jones 2202 Folwell <br />Upon a vote being taken, the motion for the appointments <br />was carried. <br />Official Polling Places Stone moved that the following locations be designated <br />Designated: as the official polling places for the coming September 8 <br />Primary Election. Motion was seconded by V~rarkentien and <br />carried, <br />Precincts 1 and 2 - Village Hall <br />Precinct 3 - Falcon Heights Elementary <br />School <br />Precinct ~. - Northwest Greenhouses <br />(Cleveland and Larpenteur) <br />Request to use Villa ge Maw Tyler requested permission to reserve the Village <br />Hall for meetings: Hall. for meetings of Goldwater for President' group. <br />Permission was granted for Tuesday evenings through <br />the 15th of September. Nilsen moved, Stone seconded <br />that political meetings or ral3ies may be held in the <br />Village Hall if such meetings do not conflict with <br />Justice of the Peace. The Deputy Clerk is authorized <br />to grant permission for such meetings until November <br />3rd, 196l~, <br />Complaint regarding <br />Cars - Parking in the Mr. Hendrickson of 1887 Arona and Mr. L.~~ McGee of <br />Villages 1882 Arona were present regarding six cars parked at <br />1879 Arona (two of which have not been moved for <br />J <br />
