2187 <br />REGULAR t~IEETING OF NOVEMBER 18, 196l~ <br />This regular meeting was called to order by Trustee Charles Stone, with the <br />following members present: Clerk W. A. Mortenson; Trustee William Black. Also <br />present were Treasurer William E. Olsen, Engineer Brad Lemberg, Deputy Clerk <br />Tina Vavoulis. Mayor tdilsen and 'T`rustee ~Yarkentien arrived at 8:00 P.M. <br />The minutes of the special meeting of October 3, 1961 were approved of ter motion <br />by Black, and. second by Mortenson. <br />Upon motion by Black, seconded by Stone, the minutes of the special meeting of <br />October 21, 196l~ were approved. <br />Upon motion by Black, seconded by Mortenson, the minutes of the special meeting <br />of November ~, 1961 were approved. <br />Correspondence: <br />Ramsey County Coroner's Mortenson read letter of invitation to inspect the new <br />Offices quarters of the Ramsey County Coroner's Office at 155 <br />Hill Street. <br />Fry Street 'No Parking Warkentien moved that the request for removal of the <br />on this side of Street' 'No Parking on this side of Street' signs on the east <br />signs side of Fry Street, starting at the southern edge of <br />the vacant lot or north of the Robert Hall property, <br />be granted. Parking will then be permitted north of <br />the third house on this street. Appropriate signs are <br />to be placed south of this point continuing parking <br />restrictions. Motion was seconded by Black and duly <br />carried, <br />Trees= Stone moved, seconded by Black that the Village Engineer <br />be instructed to prepare an advertisement for bids with <br />all the necessary specifications, to be published in the <br />legal newspaper for the pruning and other necessary work <br />for the remaining trees in the Northome area iri such <br />form as will enable the prospective bidders to bid on the <br />Sob. Motion carried. <br />Empty lot north of Shell Stone moved that the matter of cleaning up the vacant <br />Station on Albert Street: lot on Albert Street north of the Shell Station on <br />Larpenteur Avenue be referred to the Village attorney <br />as to the course of action to pursue. Zt is evident <br />that no action has been taken by owners even though <br />letter dated. September 25th called attention to <br />violation of Ordinances 19 and 20. <br />Fuel Oil for 1965: Stone moved, seconded by ~markentien that the Thorne Coal <br />and Oil Company continue to supply the heating fuel for <br />the Village Hall. and Fire Station for the price of 12.3 <br />per gallon. Tdotion carried. <br />Annual Village Election: The following election 3udges were appointed for the <br />Annual Village Election to be held on December 8, 196lc. <br />Polling places vrill be open from 12s00 N to 8:00 P.R~. <br />Precinct No. 1 <br />Mrs. Ruth MSartin - Chairman 1765 No. Fairview <br />Mrs, Dorothy Wall 1776 St. Adary's <br />Mrs. Laura Rust 1922 Autumn <br />
