2239 <br />Village in the interests of good municipal planning <br />and in order to avoid duplication of facilities and to <br />reach a preliminary understaixling with respect to <br />proposed construction, proposed lay-outs and proposed <br />assessment procedures. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Warkentien and upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted in favor of same: Nilsen <br />Strandquist, Warkentien, Stone and Black; and the following <br />voted against same: None. Whereupon the resolution was <br />adopted by the Village Council this 5th day of May 1965. <br />Daylight Savings Inasmuch as the City of Saint Paul wi11 observe daylight <br />Time: savings time commencing May 10, 1965, it was moved by <br />Stone and seconded by Black that the Village of Falcon <br />Heights' operations observe hours from 7:00 A.M, to 3:30 P.M. <br />central standard time congnencing May 10, 1965 and for a tyro <br />week period. Also that the siren sound at 11:00 A.M. and at <br />8:00 P.M. central standard time. Upon a vote being taken, <br />the following voted for the above motion: Nilsen, Stone and <br />Black and the following voted against same: Strandquist and <br />Warkentien. Motion was carried. <br />Weed Publication: Warkentien moved that Mayor Nilsen and Clerk Strandquist <br />be authorized to sign statement stating this Village will <br />pay its proportionate share of weed notice publications for <br />the year 1965.
