2300 <br />REGULAR MEETING OF OCTOBER 13, 1965 <br /> The regular meeting was called to order at 7s00 P.M. with the following <br /> members presents Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen Black, <br /> Warkentien and Stone. Also present were Treasurer Olsen and Engineer <br /> Lemberg. <br /> Robert Sander, fiscal agent from Juran and Moody, was present and dis- <br /> cussion pertinent to the 1966 tax levy was held. Mr. Sander reviewed a <br /> proposed revised tax levy schedule, copy of which is on file in the office <br /> of the Village Clerk. <br /> Resolution Reducing Stone moved adoption of the following resolutions <br /> 1966 Tax Levys <br /> WHfEREAS, in Section 6 of a resolution <br /> entitled 'Resolution Providing for the Issuance and <br /> Sale of Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Improvement <br /> Bonds of 1963,' adopted by the Village Council of <br /> the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota on <br /> September 11, 1963, there was levied upon all of <br /> the taxable property in the Village a direct <br /> general ad valorem tax in the amount of X3,000 <br /> to be spread upon the tax rolls and collected with <br /> and as part of the other general property taxes in <br /> said Village for the year 1965, to provide moneys <br /> for the payment of principal and interest on said <br /> bonds; and <br /> WHEREAS, UNDER Section l~75.61, Subd. 3 of the <br /> Minnesota Statutes said tax levy is irrevocable <br /> unless there is on hand an excess amount in the <br /> Sinking Fund and the fact and amount thereof is <br /> certified to the County Auditor, in which case the <br /> County Auditor shall reduce by the amount so <br /> certified the amount otherwise to be included in <br /> the rolls next thereafter prepared; and <br /> WHEREAS, there is now on hand in the VPatermain <br /> and Sanitary Sewer Improvements of 1963 Fund an <br /> excess amount greater than $3,000 and the Village <br /> Council deems it advisable to have this fact certi- <br /> fled to the County Auditor under Section 175.61, <br />' Subd. 3 of the Minnesota Statutes so that the <br /> County Auditor will so reduce the tax levy heretofore <br /> made, <br />NOVIT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesotas <br />1. The Village Council hereby determines that <br />there is on hand in the Watermain and Sanitary Sewer <br />Improvements of 1963 Fund an excess amount greater <br />than $3,000, and that the $3,000 tax levy for the <br />year 1966, made in Section 6 of the resolution of <br />the Council providing for the issuance and sale of <br />Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bonds of <br />1963, adopted on September 11, 1963, and thereafter <br />certified to the Ramsey County Auditor and entered <br />
