Hermes to discuss <br />application to renew said license with the council at <br />the next regular council meeting. <br />Resolution Approving The following resolution was introduced by Black who <br />Plans and Specifications moved its adoptions <br />and .Ordering Advertise- <br />ment for Bids on ~PHERE~lS, pursuant to resolution passed by the Council <br />Northeast Storm Sewer on the 2~.th day of November 1965, the Village Consulting <br />District Street Repairs Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the <br />and Seal Coating, and seal coating, patching and repair of all streets in the <br />Village Street Repairs Village within the Northeast Storm Surer District and <br />and Seal Coating Pro- east of Snelling Avenue and has presented these plans <br />ject Improvement 65-1 and specifications to the Council for approval;; <br />(66-1) <br />NC~f, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE V1ZL(~GE COUNCIL <br />OF Falcon Heights, Minnesotan <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br />2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be <br />inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids <br />upon the making of such improvement under such approved <br />plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be <br />published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be <br />done, and. shall state that bids will be received by the <br />clerk until 10:00 A. M, on August 3, 1966 at which time <br />they will be publicly opened in the council chambers in <br />the Village Hall by the Village Clerk or his deputy and <br />the Engineer, and will then be tabulated and considered <br />by the council at 5s30 P.M. on August 3, 1966 in the <br />Council chambers, and that no bids will be considered <br />unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied <br />by a cash deposit, cashiers check, bid bond or certified <br />check payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such <br />bid. <br />Adopted by the Council this 13th day of July, 1966. <br />The motion for the adoption bf:tlie foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by member ~arkentien, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Nilsen, Strandquist, Warkentien, Stone and Black and the <br />following voted against lames None. jNhereupon said <br />resolution was duly declared passed and adopted. <br />Improvement 66-1 There was a short discussion about the Albert Avenue <br />Project A-2 Drainage ~ro~ect. Engineer stated that this pro3ect <br />Albert Avenues will not remedy any water problems the residents on <br />Albert may have in their back yaxds - this project is <br />not intended to drain the back yards* <br />Biller Strandquist moved that the following bills be paid. <br />Seconded by Stone and motion was carried. <br />
