No. <br />Registering< and <br />Regulating the <br />Keeping~of Dogs: <br />Planning Commission for its review and recommendation. <br />Variance application, if granted, will allow proposed <br />building to come within seen feet of rear property line. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Warkentien. Upon a vote <br />being taken the following was recorddd: Ayes: A11. <br />Nays; None. Motion was carried. , <br />Nilsen introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />39 adoption: <br />WHEREAS, the attorney for the Village of Falcon <br />Heights has been consulted to the preparation of proposed <br />Ordinance No. 79 ~ and <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council has held discussions to <br />consider the adoption of Proposed Ordinance No. 79, <br />NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br />of Falcon Heights that Ordinance 79. entitled ~~An Ordinance <br />Amending Ordinance No. 39 Registering and Regulating the <br />Keeping of Dogs~~ is hereby approved for passage. The Clerk <br />is instructed to publish same in the Village 1s gal newspaper. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Black and upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, .the following. vote was recorded: Ayes: <br />Four, Nays: None, Abstentions One. Motion was , <br />carried. <br />Northern States N. J. Dress, municipal services representative of Northern <br />Power Company - States_Power Company, was present. After discussion and <br />Additional ..Street review of proposed plan, Stone moved, seconded by Warkentien <br />Lighting Proposal: that the Village Council authorize Northern States ,,,Power <br /> Company to install fifty-nine (59) 7,000 lumen mercury <br /> vapor street lights within the.. village limits, with the <br /> understanding that a minimum of !~6 street lights would be <br /> installed in the year 1967 and the remainder to be installed <br /> in the year 1968. Clerk is instructed to direct a letter <br /> to the attention of Municipal Services Department of N. S. P. <br /> Company advising of the foregoing action. Ayes A11. Nays: <br /> None. Motion was carried. <br />Conversion of Ddr. Dress stated that N. S. P. Company wi1.1 proceed in <br />Incandescent the very near future with converting the incandescent <br />Lights: lights in the village to mercury vapor lights. <br />Proposed Addition There was discussion regarding building an addition to the <br />to Village Ha11 village hall and fire station building. Stone moved, seconded <br />and Fire Station by Black that Engineer Lemberg be authorized ,to make a study <br />Buildingsā and. he is hereby instructed to report to the council with all <br />. convenient speed. advising the council in a preliminary way as <br /> to whether a proposed building addition to the mu~iieipal <br /> building is feasible and the estimated cost of the improvement. <br /> Said. addition would be considered a combined garage, workshop <br /> and storage building for the maintenance department. Ayess <br /> All. Nays: None. Motion was carried. <br />Street Sweeping: Black moved, seconded by Warkentien.that Village Engineer <br /> be authorized to negotiate for the best possible price and <br /> fob of sweeping the streets.
