2189 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Unclaimed Bikes It was stated that Kenneth Qu.arn, maintenance man, reports <br /> that he has four bikes which were picked up in Falcon Heights. <br /> It was decided that a note to this effect be sent to the <br /> Suburban Life and the St. Paul and Minneapolis newspapers. <br />Roseville Bill Clerk Strandquist stated that a bill for X23,036.56 has been <br />for Storm Sewer received from the Village of Roseville for Falcon Heights' <br />Improvement share of storm sewer improvement. It was agreed to retain <br /> our check until their check is received by us. <br />Proposed Tree Clerk Strandquist reported receiving from Briggs and Morgan <br />Ordinance six copies of a proposed tree ordinance. It was agreed to <br /> refer the matter to Dr. Hard for his opinion. <br />State Fair Car Councilman Black moved that a conditional use permit be <br />Wash Sign granted the State Fair Car Wash, 1693 Snelling Avenue North, <br /> for erection of a Phillips 66 plastic illuminated sign, size <br /> 6' x 6', said conditional use request having received earlier <br /> approval by the Falcon Heights Planning Commission. Such per- <br /> mission is subject to a recommendation and report by Falcon <br /> Heights Village Engineer. The motion was seconded by Council- <br /> man Stone and passed unanimously. <br />Registration Fee Councilman Black stated that the Minnesota State Bar Associa- <br />- Councilman Black Lion is offering a course of instruction on municipal problems <br /> dealing with planning and zoning. It is to be held in Minnea- <br /> polis in January 1967. Councilman Warkentien moved that the <br /> Village pay the X25.00 registration fee involved for Council- <br /> man Black to attend. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br /> Stone and passed unanimously. <br />Treasury Bill Clerk Strandquist moved that Treasurer Bill Olson be author- <br />Investment ized to invest 9,000 in treasury bills at the best possible <br />Authorization interest rates: <br /> U.S. Treasury Bills <br /> Maturity <br /> Water Main & S.S. of 1963 3/31/67 X1,000 <br /> Refunding S.S. of 1963 3/31/67 5,000 <br /> W.M. 1960-1 2/2g/67 3,000 <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Black and passed unan- <br />imously. <br />1 <br />Adjournment At 11:00 P.M.
