Bonestroo, Anderlik and Associates prepare a study <br />Services: of that portion of the Village of Falcon Heights bounded by <br />Hamline Avenue on the East, Holton Street on the west, <br />Roselawn Avenue on the North and Garden Avenue on the South <br />unserviced by municipal. water, including the present water <br />supply for this area, its condition and all other problems. <br />3~t Water line 3. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates further <br />South of prepare a study of the 3~t water line now servicing a portion <br />Garden on of the homes on Hamline Avenue, south of Garden Avenue, <br />Hamline: which line has now outlasted its useful expectancy and <br />whichwas not installed or maintained by the Village or <br />the City of Saint Paul. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted for sam es <br />Nilsen, S trandquist, Black, Warkentien and Stone and the <br />following voted against the sames None. Whereupon reso- <br />lution was declared adopted. <br />Feasibility Study Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Improvement of its adoptions <br />ARONA S TREE T <br />between Larpenteur WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Arona Street <br />and California between Larpenteur and California Avenues by installation <br />Avenues: of curbs and gutters, and to assess the benefited property <br />for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, <br />pursuant to the laws of Minnesota, Chapter l~29, <br /> NCt4V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br /> of Falcon Heights that the proposed improvement be referred <br /> to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates for study and <br /> they are instructed to report to the council with all con- <br /> venient speed advising the council in a preliminary way <br /> as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as <br /> to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connectic~ <br /> with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the <br /> improvement as recommended. Motion was duly seconded by <br /> Stone. Whereupon a vote was taken and the following voted <br /> for sames Nilsen, Strandquist, Stone, Black and Warkentien <br /> and the following voted against same: None. Resolution <br /> was declared adopted. <br /> Funds Available Treasurer Olsen advised that funds are now available for <br /> for Investments investment from the following funds and recommended <br /> purchase of treasury bills as follows: <br /> Larpenteur Ave. W/M and Pumping Station <br /> to mature in one year ~1~,000.00 <br /> WaterMain and Sanitary Sewer of 1963 <br /> to mature in one year $4,000.00 <br /> Refunding Sanitary Sewer of 1963 <br /> to mature on September 15, 1967 $21,000.00 <br /> Waterl4Yain Improvement of 1960 No. 1 <br />to mature in one year X3,000.00 <br /> Warkentien moved, seconded by Strandquist that the Village <br /> Treasurer be authorized to make necessary investments from <br /> the various sinking funds based on the recommendation of <br /> John Turner, financial consultant at the First National <br /> Bank of Saint Paul. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried, <br />
