Motion was carried. <br />Retroactive Pay to Stone moved, seconded by Warkentien that retroactive pay <br />Village Employeess dhecks for the six village employees belonging to the <br />union may be released as aoon as the Agreement as amended <br />has been completely executed by the union representative <br />and the Mayor. Ayes: All, Nays: None. Motion was <br />carried. <br />Street Maintenance and Black introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Seal Coat Project 67-2: adoptions <br />Bids: WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for <br />the Village Street Maintenance and Seal Coat Project which <br />involves all village streets north of Larpenteur Avenue east <br />of Snelling Avenue, bids were received and opened on June 7, <br />1967, tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br />received. complying with the advertisement: <br />Armor Coat Company, Inc. X9,518.50 <br />Dunkley Surfacing Company 10,?_30.00 <br />Allied Blacktop 10,630.50 <br />C. S. McCrossan, Ine. 11,140.25 <br />Bituminous Surface Treating Company 12,547.50 <br />Blacktop Construction 13,384.25 <br />and WHEREAS, it appears that Armor Coat Company, Inc <br />of St. Paul, Minnesota is ?-.he lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: <br />1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into the aforesaid contract with Armor <br />Coat Company, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights for the Village Street Mainten- <br />ance and Seal Coat Project according to the plans and specifi- <br />cations therefor approved bythe Village Council and on file <br />in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br />their bids, except that the deposits of the successful <br />bidder and the next lowest bidder sha11 be retained until a <br />contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Village Council this 8th day of June, 1967. <br />Motion was duly seconded bar Warkentien and upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted for same: Nilsen, Stone, Black <br />and Warkentien and the following voted against same: Nane. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. <br />
