Street Maintenance and Black introduced the following resolution and moved its Seal Coat Project 67-2: adoptions Bids: WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Village Street Maintenance and Seal Coat Project which involves all village streets north of Larpenteur Avenue east of Snelling Avenue, bids were received and opened on June 7, 1967, tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received. complying with the advertisement: Armor Coat Company, Inc. X9,518.50 Dunkley Surfacing Company 10,?_30.00 Allied Blacktop 10,630.50 C. S. McCrossan, Ine. 11,140.25 Bituminous Surface Treating Company 12,547.50 Blacktop Construction 13,384.25 and WHEREAS, it appears that Armor Coat Company, Inc of St. Paul, Minnesota is ?-.he lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: 1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the aforesaid contract with Armor Coat Company, Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of the Village of Falcon Heights for the Village Street Mainten- ance and Seal Coat Project according to the plans and specifi- cations therefor approved bythe Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder sha11 be retained until a contract has been signed.
