Also present were Engineer Lemberg, and Treasurer Olsen. Attorney Kyle <br /> was absent. <br /> Minutes: Black moved, seconded by Warkentien that the minutes of <br /> the meeting of October 11, 1967 be approved. Ayes: All. <br /> .Nays: None. Motion was carried. <br /> Warkentien moved, seconded by Black that the minutes of <br /> the meeting of October 26, 1967 be approved as corrected. <br /> Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion was carried. <br /> Correspondences <br /> V. Jacobson Letter dated November 4 from Vicky Jacobson, 1703 St. Mary's '~ <br /> 1703 St. Mary's: Street expressed thanks to the council for action taken ' <br /> I <br />with respect to the parking problem on St. Mary's Street. <br /> E. R. Welhaven Letter dated November 1967 from E. R, Welhaven, County <br /> County Assessors Assessor enclosed tabulations showing County~s assessed <br /> values and comparison with County Auditors assessed <br /> values as of 1966. <br />I <br /> Northern States Letter dated November 2, 1967 from E. V. Bergstrom advised ~' <br /> Power: in part that Ron Vannelli has assumed responsibilities as <br /> Supervisor of St. Paul Municipal Services Department. <br /> Sanitary Sewer Discussion was held regarding sewer rental charges and <br /> Rental Rates Engineer Lemberg's letter of October 25, 1967 and Report ~, <br /> Charges: on Proposed Sanitary Sewer Rate Charges prepared by Richard <br /> Turner of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates. <br /> Nilsen moved seconded by Warkentien that Village Engineer <br /> and Village Attorney be instructed to proceed with the <br /> completion of the negotiations to provide for the signing o f <br /> agreement between Saint Paul and the Village of Falcon Heigh <br /> on sewer rental. Further moved that Village Engineer and <br /> Attorney be instructed to start preparation of necessary <br /> ordinance to complement the contract and agreement. Ayess <br /> All. Nays: None. Motion was carried. <br /> John Webster ~ John Webster, 1618 Hollywood Court, was present and inquired ~' <br /> Hollywood Court: as to any further action Council has taken regarding service <br /> drive into Hollywood Court. <br /> Falcon Heights Fire Letter dated October 30, 1967 from Henry Dachtera, Secretary <br /> Department Relief of the Falcon Heights Fire Department Relief Association <br /> Association - stated that motion was approved that the Association was in <br /> Pension Benefits: favor of increasing all the pension benefits in accordance <br /> with recent legislation change, except the cash settlement <br />portion of the bill. Association wishes to reserve the <br /> right to possible amendment of the by-laws at a future date <br /> to include some form of cash settlement pending the outcome <br /> of an actuarial report. <br /> Black moved, seconded by Strandquist that this letter be <br /> referred to Village Attorney. Ayes: All. Nays: None. <br /> Motion was carried. <br />
