26l~2 <br />Reserve Village Hall Upon request of Betty Ernst on behalf of the <br />for Republican Caucus Republican Party Stone moved seconded by Nilsen <br />February 6, 1968s that the Village Hall be reserved for Republican <br />. Precinct Caucus to be held on Tues~ay~ February <br />6, 1968. Ayess All. Nayss None. Motion was <br />carried. <br />De~rey A. Smith - Clerk read notice of Filing Claim Petition filed <br />former Police Officer with the Industrial Commission of Minnesota on <br />. Industrial Commission November 7~ 1967. <br />Notice of Filing <br />Claim Petitions <br />Notice from Department of Administrations State <br />Administering Social of Minnesota dated October 31~ 1967 was regarding <br />Security Coverage for Social Security coverage for public employees. <br />Public Employees: Council's attention was called to paragraph No. 5, <br />which states in^part that newly elected public <br />officials who initially take office after January <br />lst, 1968 will automatically be covered under the <br />State Social Security Agreement. <br />Water Department Letter dated November 16~ 1967 from Clifford <br />Building Permits in Hamblin, General Managers St. Paul Water Department <br />Falcon Heights: stated in part that before building permits for <br /> any new construction which may now or in the future <br /> be supplied from the St. Paul water systems blue- <br /> prints must be marked ~accepted~ by the Engineering. <br /> Division of that Department. Stone moved, seconded <br /> by Warkentien-that this letter, be referred to the <br /> Village Engineer for investigation and that he make <br /> report to the Council. Ayes= All. Nayss None. <br /> Motion Was carried. <br />Engineerts Reports Engineer Lemberg submitted three drawings of Falcon <br />Traffic Count Map Heights Municipal State Aid Street System prepared <br />Municipal State Aid by the Minn. Highway Department. Consulting <br />Street System: _ Engineer has tabulated the Villages traffic count <br /> for the period 1966-67 and same has been printed on <br /> above-mentioned drawings which shall be on file <br /> in the office of the Village Clerk. <br />Extension of Northeast Keller Construction Company has been contacted by <br />Storm Secu~rrer-Falcon Heights Engineer with regard to installing a line on the <br />Congregational Church parking lot of the Falcon Heights Congregational <br />Parking Lott Church as an extension of the Northeast Storm <br /> Sewer Project of 1966. Nilsen moved that the <br /> village consulting engineer be authorized to enter <br /> contract with Keller Construction Company after <br /> proper plans and specifications are drawn. Said <br /> project cost shall be approximately X1500 and <br /> construction shall be commenced, if conditions <br /> are favorable within the next week. Motion was <br />seconded by Black. Ayes: All. Nays: None. <br /> Motion was carried. <br />
