DeBernardi, 1770 Pascal was present regarding <br />1770 No. Pascals sanitary. sewer trouble he has had for several years, <br /> which was recently corrected by Webster Company. It <br />. was stated that on his private property there was a <br /> dip in the line which was jacked up to correct part <br /> of the trouble, also the pipe to the street was <br /> replaced so there is now a downward flow. DeBernardi!s <br /> letter to Council was read. <br /> Engineer Lemberg stated that statement of charges for <br />. material and labor fr®m Webster Company which accompanied <br /> said letter, shows charges for labor in excess of normal <br /> charges. After discussions Council agreed that in view of <br /> the fact that the Village of Falcon Heights will b® <br /> expected to pay a proportionate share of the bill for <br /> correcting the sewer line, the village counei7. would <br /> life to discuss the matter of labor charges with Webster <br /> Company and representative will be asked to attend meeting <br /> of January 11~ 1967. <br />Plumber authorized to Having met-the requirements, it was moved by Black, ~ <br />work in Villages seconded by Warkentien that R & J Plumbing Company j <br /> Mahtomedi, Minnesota be given authorization to do <br /> plumbing work in the Village of Falcon Heights. For several. months, the village office has received <br />Water Pressure oral complaints from the area around Garden Avenue at <br />Garden and Simpson: Simpson regarding the low water pressure. The+~t. Paul <br />_ Water Department has stated to Engineer Lemberg. that <br />- it wou],d do something about correcting this but to <br />date, no improvement has been made. <br />Leak in water line Regarding a leak in water line at 1915 Prior Avenue' the <br />1915 N. Priors Water Department has stated to engineer that its guarantee <br />- is only good on the main and not in the services. Engineer <br />_ contends that under umPritten agreements with the Water <br />Department, it had agreed to take care of services for <br />thirty years, if they made the taps and had full time <br />inspectors on hand when water installation was made. <br />This was done and the Village of Falcon Heights paid <br />X30.00 each to St. Paul for services. Furthermore <br />Lemberg stated that. pressure test was conducted on <br />each one. .Engineer will arrange for a meeting with <br />St. Paul Water Department and Vi1l.age Attflrne~r and <br />Councilmen so these matters can be discussed and <br />resolved. <br />Sewer Rates - Dick Turner of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, <br />Ordinancess _ Attorney Kyle and Engineer Lemberg have been working on <br />drafting ordinance to amend existing ordinances as regards <br />sewer rate structure and future payments of same. <br />
