Seconded by <br />Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />Public Safety Nilsen moved -that Donald E. Arndt be appointed <br />Commissioner. Public Safety Commissioner for the year 1958. <br />Seconded by Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />Village Gas Utecht moved that Elwood D. Larson be appointed <br />Inspector Village Gas Inspector for the year 1958. Seconded <br />by Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />Village Plumbing Nilsen .moved that A. J. Falkowski be appointed <br />Inspector Village Plumbing Inspector for the year 1958. <br />Seconded by Warkentien and motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br />Ramsey County Warkentien moved that the appointment of Trustee <br />Municipalities As- George J. Shavor to the Ramsey County Municipalities <br />sociation Committee Association Committee on Building Codes and Licensing <br />be approved. Seconded by Utecht, and motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />.Warkentien moved that the appointment of David <br />P. Cartwright, of the Falcon Heights Planning <br />Commission, to the Ramsey County Municipalities <br />Association Planning Commission, be approved. <br />Seconded by Utecht and motion carried unanimously. <br />Salaries Utecht moved the adoption of the following monthly <br />salaries effective January 1, 1958: <br />Mayor, $80.00; each Truster $60.00; Clerk, $60.00; <br />Treasurer, $75.00; Fire Chief, $50.00; Public <br />Safety Commissioner, $40.00. Seconded by Warken- <br />tier and motion carried unanimously. <br />Falcon Heights After discussion Nilsen moved that B. J. Rech- <br />Skattng Rink tiene be authorized to engage the services of <br />a supervisor for the Falcon Heights skating rink <br />on the same basis as last year. Seconded by <br />Warkentien and motion carried unanimously. <br />Fire Engine Repairs After discussion Nilsen moved that the Fire Chief <br />be authorized to take Fire Engine No. 1 to the <br />International Harvester Company in St. Paul for <br />a valve grinding job estimated to cost $75.00 <br />Seconded by Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br />
