<br />Police Mr. Don Arndt submitted the report of the Falcon Heights
<br />Commissioner police department for December, 1957 and it was dis-
<br /> cussed with .the council members.
<br />Village Vern L~ungren reported on the status of the plans. of
<br />Engineers Ramsey County to improve Larpenteur Avenue to
<br /> Snelling Avenue and storm sewer matters. With respect
<br /> to the aotfried hole, he reported that there would be
<br /> a meeting with representatives of Roseville and the
<br /> County Engineer's office some time next week and the
<br /> Mayor indicated that he would attend this meeting with
<br /> Mr. L~ungren.
<br />Stationery Utecht moved that the Clerk be authorized to purchase
<br /> necessary stationery for the new Mayor. Seconded by
<br /> Nilsen. and motion carried unanimously.
<br />Tables and Hadley Miller of Farnham's Book and Stationery was
<br />Chairs present and discussed proposed tables and chairs for the
<br /> Council rooms. It was agreed that he would get some ad-
<br /> ditional information and report back to the Council.
<br />Tree Trimming John Schultz of Schultz Tree Service Company submitted his
<br /> proposal to the Village to do tree trimming in the Vi1-
<br /> lage at a cost of $6.00 per hour for equipment and two
<br /> men .
<br />Utecht moved that Schultz Tree Service Company be
<br />authorized to trim Village trees, up to a total cost
<br />of $475.00 in the area north of Larpenteur between
<br />Snelling and Hamline Avenue for two men and equipment
<br />in accordance with their proposal, all work to be done
<br />under the direction of Councilman Warkentien with
<br />reports to be submitted to the regular council meetings.
<br />Seconded by Warkentien and motion carried unanimously.
