Lindig, 16$1 Larpenteur. <br />Seconded by Shavor and motion unanimously carried. <br />Record Cards After discussion, Nilsen moved that the Clerk provide <br />50o record cards in substantially the form of the <br />sample submitted. Seconded by Warkentien and unanim- <br />ously carried. <br />Police Radio Nilsen reported that the offer of Ramsey County for <br />two way radio service for the Falcon Heights police <br />car upon the terms set out in the Ramsey County Board <br />of Commissioner's resolution dated December 16, 1957 <br />had been accepted by him for the Village January 10, 1958. <br />Larpenteur Avenue The Village Engineer read a letter dated January 23, 1958 <br />Improvements. summarizing a meeting which he and Nilsen had attended <br />with Messrs. Ancker ~ Crampton of the County Engineer's <br />office regarding plans for the development of Larpenteur <br />Avenue. <br />Storm Sewer <br />Survey Ljungren also discussed the present status of his study <br />of the Village storm serer problems. <br />Hanson Suit The Villa ge Attorney reported on the status ofthe.suit of <br />Hanson vs. Northome Shopping Center in which the Village <br />of Falcon Heights had been joined as a third party de- . <br />fendant on January 10, 1958. The defense of this suit <br />has been tendered to the insurance companies who will <br />answer ~"~`~r' the uill~ge. <br />Seger Charge The attorney also reported that the St. Paul Corporation <br />Revision Counsel's office was preparing resolutions to put into <br />effect the increase in sewer charges for the suburbs. <br />Copies will be supplied to the attorneys as soon as they <br />are ready and they will be given an opportunity to <br />present their case before the St. Paul City Council when <br />the resolutions are considered about a week later. The <br />attorney is to keep in touch with this situation and ad- <br />vise the Mayor and Clerk of developments. <br />Deputy Clerk <br />and Treasurer After discussion, Shauor` moved;thdt`.thd; Deputy Cler~€fs <br />wages be increased to X1.50 per hour effective February <br />15, 1958. Seconded by Nilsen and unanimously carried. <br />Appointment of After discussion, Warkentien moved that the office of <br />Trustee Trustee, vacated by Nilsen when he resigned to take <br />office as Mayor, be declared vacant. Seconded by Shavor <br />and motion unanimously carried. <br />The Mayor then asked for nominations of candidates to <br />fill the office of Trustee to serve out the balance of <br />Nilsen's term until December 31st, 1958. Nilsen nominated <br />Paul L. Coppini, Shavor nominated Edward R. Martin and <br />Utecht nominated A. Carl Kaechele. Warkentien moved that <br />
