<br />Police After ~'iscussion, it was moved by Coppini and .seconded by
<br />PTA Car- ~~Jarkentien that the request of the Falcon Heights P. T. A. for
<br />nival four men to act as policemen at their carnival to be held at
<br /> the school `~Tay 9th, be referred to Don Arndt, Public Safety
<br /> Corimissioner. I"otion unanimously carried.
<br />^lanket After discussion, it was moved by Shavor and seconded by ti5iarken-
<br />for tien that Don Arndt, Public Safety Co°nmissioner, be authorized to

<br />Smoke Ex- ?'tiarkentien reported he talked to John Rysgaard about the Smoke
<br />tractor Extractor and was assured there is plenty of power to run a
<br /> Smoke Extractor off the generator of the fire truck in case
<br /> house power is not available. It was moved by h~ta.rkentien and
<br /> seconded by Conpini that the Fire Department's Requisition #1l~1
<br /> for 1 P160-16" Super Vacuum Smoke Ejector, 115 volt, A. C. 1~1~

<br />Telephone Letter of April 17th from TJorthwestern "ell Telephone Company
<br />Rates advising they had billed in error at the rate of ~>5.00 per
<br /> month,. for i>~ri. 6-5200, and that they vrere changing the billing
<br /> to 510.15 per month, effective I~?ay 1st, 1958, was read and filed.
<br />Autumn R~ Dan ia].ide, 1998 Aut~.mn, asked Vhat had been done regarding Falcon
<br />Prior Sts. ~~oods Streets. He ~,;as advised the streets had been checked, that
<br /> they were not in food condition and there was the possibility of
<br /> further breakup. Engineer Ljungren's letter stating there was a
<br /> division of rcaponsibility and liability a.nd suggesting that
<br /> certain tests be made on the bituminous surfacing, base and sewer
<br /> trench which might help clarify these responsibilities, was read.
<br /> It was moved by utecht and seconded by Nilsen that Village Engineer
<br /> Ljungren be authorized to spend approximately ~200.U0 for the pur-
<br /> pose of testing on the Falcon v""floods streets as soon as conditions
<br /> permit -- we to advise i"°.~Tr. ~31ide the result of tests and further
