Hardie, President, Falcon Heights <br />Women League of Women Voters, advising that Mrs. B[. R. Sandstrom, <br />Voters 17b5 Tatum, St. Paul, 13, was their new Vice President and <br />Local Study Chairman; and asking that copies of minutes be <br />sent directly to Mrs. Sandstrom was read and noted. Mrs. <br />Berdie also enclosed a list of their newly elected officers <br />which was placed on file. <br />Alleys There was a discussion regarding the repair of existing accepted <br />alleys; and alleys where people might want to petition to have <br />them put in acceptable condition. Attorney Graham was instructed <br />to prepare petitions and check ownership on property adjoining <br />unimproved alleys; said petitions to be presented to affected <br />property owners for their approval or re3ection. <br />Personal Shavor questions whether we are being assessed fairly on personal <br />Property property taxes, and after discussion, the Council expressed <br />Taxes their approval of his plan to talk to Powers, at the Court <br />House, either by himself or xith other interested persons. <br />Special After a discussion regarding parking lots, streets, and drain- <br />Meeting age, it was moved by Utecht and seconded by Nilsen that we set <br />a special meeting for 7 P. M., Tuesday, May 13th, for the fur- <br />ther discussion of these matters.
