Iowa, citing <br />damage done to his yard by dog belonging to someone of the Jack <br />Ziegler family be referred to Willis iM1'arkentien. <br />Barthel Letter from Douglas Shhets ~ Bell, 112 E. 6th St., 5t. Paul, 1, <br />Lots dated July 7th was read. It stated they were enclosing a petition <br />pertaining to lots le, 1lt, 15, 20 and 21, Block 1, Barthel Villas. <br />They stated the matter of the issuance of building permits has <br />dragged on for many years, and they were anxious to bring it to a <br />head. There was no petition enclosed, and thc~ letter was referred <br />to Attorney C,raham. <br />Alley Letter from A. H.Paschall, 1l~76 W. California, stating his opinion <br />that the alley between Pascal and Arona, between California and <br />Idaho had been improved, was read. Members of the Council are <br />sure this alley has never been brought up to specifications as an <br />improved alley, and the matter was referred to Trustee Coppini. <br />Business Card from Fillmore & Bradbury, 15 E. Franklin Ave., Mpls. ~, re- <br />Men garding used Christmas Street Decorations, and letter from White <br />Bear Assn., Inc., inviting Falcon Heights to participate in <br />their Centennial Days Parade, were referred to George Williams, <br />Falcon Heights Hdwe., Chairman of the Falcon Heights Business <br />Mens~ Association. <br />Arona St. Copy of letter written by Milner W. Carley & Associates, to :fir. <br />Larp. to Roy Holzer, Water Department, City of St. Paul was read and filed. <br />Hoyt. It stated: Numerous complaints have been received regarding the <br />condition of Arona Street resulting from the installation of <br />water main in this street. The Village Council was of the under- <br />standing that the Ramsey County Highway Department was authorized <br />to make the necessary repairs. The County Engineer's Office in- <br />formed the Council it had been authorized to perform only certain <br />portions of the work. Council requested Milner Carley & Associates <br />to contact Water Department, City of St. Paul and request that the <br />balance of the work be performed immediately. L3ungren advised he <br />would be willing to meet with representatives of St. Paul at their <br />convenience. <br />Pascal Andrew Geisen, 1860 No. Pascal, spokesman for a group of residents <br />Avenue on the east side of Pascal, between Garden and Ruggles, said <br />Ditch their drainage ditches had been left in an unsightly and hazardous <br />condition. It was moved by Shavor, seconded by Nilsen a.nd unan- <br />imously voted to authorize the Village Engineer to proceed with <br />the work of refacing and resodding the ditch along the East side <br />of Pascal from the north edge of Ruggles to the Barthel Villas <br />Sump Area for the purpose of protecting the street and preventing <br />erosion of the shoulder. Estimated cost X300.00. <br />It was moved by Coppini, seconded by Shavor and unanimousl~r voted <br />that we place a reflectorized sign at the dead end of Ruggles at <br />Pascal. <br />
