After discussion, it was moved by ti~~iarkentien, seconded by Emergencies Utecht and unanimously carried that the following resolu- tion be adopted: iNHEP~EAS, the Village Council desires to authorize the Falcon Heights Fire Department to enter into an arrangement with the Roseville Fire Department whereby each department will assist the other in case of major fire emergencies, NORr Ti-?EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota: 1. That the Falcon Heights Fire Chief, or officer in charge in his absence, is hereby authorized, in case of a major fire emergency in Roseville and. upon request of the Roseville Fire Chief, or officer in charge, to send such Falcon Heights' fire equip- ment to Roseville as in his judgment can be spared and in case of a major fire emergency in Falcon Heights to call upon the Roseville Fire Department for similar assistance.. 2. The Clerk is authorized and directed to send a copy of the resolution to the Roseville Village Council with a letter advising t'rem that it has been passed by the Falcon Heights Village Council at this meeting. Sewer A discussion was had as to whether and how the sewer should Inspection be inspected since the one year contractor's guarantee was about to run out. Ljungren is to discuss this matter with the City of St. Paul to see what type of check should be made and whether they can do the work and the cost. Street The matter of sweeping the Village Streets was discussed Sweeping and it was tentatively determined to let the sweeping go until early in 1959. Falcon Vdoods ~,Sr. Gage was present and matters in connection with his ~#2 Plat Falcon :roods #2 plat were discussed. The attorney was re- quested to check the procedure which would be necessary for Mr. Gaffe to be permitted to connect additional sewers for the new plat to the existing sewers. Ljungren recommended that the addition to the sewer he in- stalled by the Village of r'alcon Heights and covered by a cash deposit of the developer.
