If the State is willing. to pay the <br />extra cost, they will enlarge the storm sewer to handle the water <br />from the State Highways in that area. It doesn't appear as if the <br />State v~rill go along with it, Ljungren thinks, no matter what <br />happens, we v~rill probably be relieved of most of the State's water <br />that has been running into the sump area, but he feels we will <br />have to install a pump if we intend to keep up a sodded landscaped <br />playground area, <br />Curbing ~ There was a discussion regarding curbing on Hoyt. V~tarkentien, <br /> Conpini and Ljungren will study the matter and determine costs <br /> to be submitted to property owners at a later date. <br />Load Limits'~ It was moved by Shavor, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously voted <br /> that the Village Engineer and tl^A Village Street Commissioner <br /> 'oe authorized to post Village Streets for three ton axle load <br /> when and if such posting is necessary for the protection of <br /> V_11age streets. <br />Drainage Engineer Ljun~•ren advised he has complete profiles, including center <br /> line, gutter ling, tops of curbs or gutter line at the areas where <br /> there: has been trouble with standing water, such. as Idaho & Pascal <br /> and Simpson end Crawford. <br />Police There was a discussion regarding rules and regulations fo.r the police <br />Manual department. ~Yarkentien and Arndt will discuss. and study it further <br /> and report at a later date. <br />Rerouting If necessary, it was decided the best way to route the buses would <br />Buses be north on Hemline to Larpen teur, west to Snelling, North to <br /> Roselawn and. back the same way. <br />Financial It yeas moved by Shavor, seconded by V~arkentien and unanimously <br />Statement voted that the s'illage Financial StateYnant for the Near be checked <br />by the Treasurer and, if correct, be sent to the F~ose Tribune for <br />publication as required by law. <br />Drainage It i~ras suggested that it might be advisable to put a scotch lighted <br />Ditches post or posts at the corner of Ruge~les and Simpson to alert people <br />to the drainage ditch„ <br />Sills On motion by 'Narkentien, seconded by Nilsen, the following bills <br />were ordered paid: <br />Otto W. Rohland, Ramsey Co. Treasurer, part payment lift <br />station and force main Larpenteur & Fernwood $3500.00 <br />Hoeft Electric Co., Lights at Iowa skating rink and <br />warming house 155. 5 <br />~inneso ta.
