<br />REGULAR MEETING APRIL 9th, 1959.
<br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P. M., the following Council Members being
<br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; Willis Warkentien,
<br />Trustee; Paul Coppini, Trustee and Wm. Utecht, Clerk. Also present were Frank
<br />N. Graham, Village Attorney; Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer; Vern Ljungren, Village
<br />Engineer and Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer.
<br />The Minutes of the special meeting of March 9th were approved as submitted.
<br />The Minutes of the Regular meeting of March 19th were approved as submitted.
<br />Hearing Mayor Nilsen read the following legal notice published in the Rose
<br />Rezoning Tribune March 26th, 1959, Affidavit of Publishing and Affidavit of
<br />Petition posting same notice at the three designated. posting places b4arch
<br />20th, 1959.
<br />"LEGAL NOTICE VII.,LAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
<br />• Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at 7:00
<br />P. M. on Thursday, April 9th, 1959, before the Council of the
<br />Village of Falcon Heights at the Village Hall, 1614 W. Larpenteur
<br />Avenue, Falcon Heights, Minnesota, at which the petition dated
<br />February 10th, 1959, signed by Frank J. Collins and others, re-
<br />questing that the property described as: The westerly 285' of lot
<br />8, Annie L. Hendrickson's Acre Lots, Ramsey County, Village of
<br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota, excepting from said tract the following
<br />described parts: (1) the north 850' of said tract; (2) the west b0'
<br />of the south 195' of said tract, and (3) the south 179' of said
<br />tract lying Easterly of the Westerly 60' of said tract be rezoned
<br />from Business District to Residence District "A", Sub3ect to the
<br />present non-conforming use. All persons interested in said proposed
<br />rezoning are hereby advised to attend the hearing at said time and
<br />place and to participate in the said meeting.
<br />The petition dated February 10th, signed by Frank J. Collins and
<br />others, was read as follows:
<br />Pursuant to Subsection (e) of Section 12 cif Ordinance No. 8 of the
<br />Village of Falcon Heights, MinnE~sota, to change the zoning of the
<br />following described tract of land located in Ramsey County, State
<br />of Minnesota, from a Business District Classification to a Residence
<br />District "A" classification: The westerly 285' of lot 8, Annie L.
<br />Hendrickson's Acre Lots, Ramsey County, Village of Falcon Heights,
<br />Minnesota, excepting from said tract the following described parts:
<br />(1) The north 850' of said tract; (2) the west 60' of the south
<br />195' of said tract; and (3) the south 179' of said tract lying east-
<br />erly of the westerly 60' of said tract. Subject to the present non-
<br />conforming use. Dated: This 10th day of February 1959.
<br />This petition had been submitted to the Village Attorney who sub-
<br />mitted that it was in order. It was signed by the proper number of
<br />property owners, and therefore sufficient.
