~~~~~ <br />for water lines at this time. It is the feeling of the Council <br />that the future extension of lines should depend on the future <br />development. The main thing is to get the line on Larpenteur- <br />with the necessary crossovers and appurtenances at fhe cross <br />streets to make connections possible when the various areas are <br />developed. <br />The people living on Larpenteur were asked for a show of hands <br />as to those who were in favor of going ahead with the plan as <br />outlined. There were 10 in favor of going ahead nox. Those who <br />opposed going ahead now with the plan as outlined were asked to <br />raise their hands. There were 7 opposed. <br />Utecht moved the adoption of the following resolutions <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMEf~T AND PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted June 25, 1959, <br />fixed a date for the Council Hearing on the proposed improvement <br />of Larpenteur Avenue from Snelling Avenue West to a point 72b' east <br />of the center line of Cleveland Avenue by the extension of water <br />mains, <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two <br />weekly publications of the required Notice was given and the Hear- <br />ing was held thereon on the 13th day of July, 1959, at which all <br />persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be <br />heard thereon <br />NOMt, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON <br />HEIGHTS <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council <br />Resolution adopted June 25th, 1959. <br />2. Milner W. Carley do Associates are hereby designated as the <br />engineers for this improvement and they shall prepare plans and <br />specifications for the making of such improvement. <br />Seconded by Warkentien and unanimously carried. The following <br />vote was recorded: Nilsen, Aye; Warken tien, Aye; Shavor, Aye and <br />Utecht, Aye. <br />Licenses All requirements having been met, it was moved by Nilsen, seconded <br />by Utect and unanimously voted to grant MASTER GAS INSTALLER'S <br />LICENSE to Tony Ferrara, Standard Heating Co., 1b9h Snelling Avenue, <br />St. Paul, Minnesota. <br />All requirements having been met, it was moved by Shavor, seconded <br />by Warkentien and unanimously voted that MASTER GAS INSTALLERS <br />LICENSE be issued to Willard Krinkie, Jr., dba the Snelling Company, <br />1lt00 St. AnthorYy Ave., St. Paul, !~, Minnesota. <br />Bldg. Mr. Kroemer presented the Council with a letter dated-July 13th <br />Permit from the Calhoun Realty Co. The letter stated they had recently <br />sold property legally described as lots 35, 3b, 37 and 38 the <br />Crossroads, Ramsey Countyā€˛ Minnesota to ldr. Morris Cohen and <br />asked permission for Mr. Cohen to erect a 1 story building having <br />a frontage of 120 facing^Larpenteur Avenue and a depth of 70' <br />to be used for the merchandising of retail men's furnishings. <br />1 <br />i] <br />U <br />
