The main thing is to get the line on Larpenteur- with the necessary crossovers and appurtenances at fhe cross streets to make connections possible when the various areas are developed. The people living on Larpenteur were asked for a show of hands as to those who were in favor of going ahead with the plan as outlined. There were 10 in favor of going ahead nox. Those who opposed going ahead now with the plan as outlined were asked to raise their hands. There were 7 opposed. Utecht moved the adoption of the following resolutions RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMEf~T AND PREPARATION OF PLANS WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted June 25, 1959, fixed a date for the Council Hearing on the proposed improvement of Larpenteur Avenue from Snelling Avenue West to a point 72b' east of the center line of Cleveland Avenue by the extension of water mains, AND WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required Notice was given and the Hear- ing was held thereon on the 13th day of July, 1959, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon NOMt, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted June 25th, 1959. 2. Milner W. Carley do Associates are hereby designated as the engineers for this improvement and they shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. Seconded by Warkentien and unanimously carried. The following vote was recorded: Nilsen, Aye; Warken tien, Aye; Shavor, Aye and Utecht, Aye. Licenses All requirements having been met, it was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Utect and unanimously voted to grant MASTER GAS INSTALLER'S LICENSE to Tony Ferrara, Standard Heating Co., 1b9h Snelling Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota. All requirements having been met, it was moved by Shavor, seconded by Warkentien and unanimously voted that MASTER GAS INSTALLERS LICENSE be issued to Willard Krinkie, Jr., dba the Snelling Company, 1lt00 St. AnthorYy Ave., St. Paul, !~, Minnesota. Bldg. Mr. Kroemer presented the Council with a letter dated-July 13th Permit from the Calhoun Realty Co. The letter stated they had recently sold property legally described as lots 35, 3b, 37 and 38 the Crossroads, Ramsey County„ Minnesota to ldr. Morris Cohen and asked permission for Mr. Cohen to erect a 1 story building having a frontage of 120 facing^Larpenteur Avenue and a depth of 70' to be used for the merchandising of retail men's furnishings. 1 i] U
