become due, the full faith, credit and taxing powers of the Village <br />are hereby irrevocably pledged. <br />Bonds of this issue maturing October 1, 1978 and October 1, <br />1979 are subject to redemption and prior payment at the option of <br />the Village in inverse order of their numbers, on October 1, 1862 <br />and on any interest payment date thereafter. All other bonds of <br />this issue maturing on October 1, 1970 and thereafter are subject to <br />redemption and prior payment at the option of the Village, in inverse <br />order of their numbers, on October 1, lg6g and on any interest pay- <br />ment date thereafter. Bonds so redeemed shall be redeemed at par and <br />accrued interest, plus a premium of $~+0. Thirty days prior notice of <br />redemption shall in each case be given to the bank where said bonds <br />are payable and to the last known holder. Holders desiring to receive <br />such notice must register their names, addresses and bond numbers with <br />the Village Clerk. <br />This bond is one of a series in the total principal amount <br />of $67,000, all of like date and tenor, except as to serial number, <br />maturity, interest rate and redemption privilege, issued by said <br />Village for the purpose of defraying expenses incurred and to be in- <br />curred in the construction of a watermain extension and pumping sta- <br />tion for the Village, which improvement has heretofore been designated <br />as Larpenteur Avenue Watermain and Pumping Station Improvement, and <br />is issued pursuant to and in full conformity with the Constitution <br />and the laws of the State of Minnesota. This bond is payable primar- <br />ily from the Larpenteur Avenue Watermain and Pumping Statibn:Improve- <br />ment Fund, but the Council is required to pay the principal and inter- <br />est thereof out of any funds in the treasury in the event that the <br />monies on hand in said fund are at any time insufficient to meet the <br />payment of maturing principal and interest. <br />IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED, RECITED, COVENANTED AND AGREED That <br />all acts, conditions and things required by the Constitution and laws <br />of the State of Minnesota to be done, to exist, to happen and to be <br />performed preliminary to and in the issuance of this bond in order to <br />make it a valid and binding general obligation of said Village accord- <br />ing to its terms have been done, do exist, have happened and have been <br />performed as so required; that the Village has duly determined the <br />necessity and contracted for the construction of said improvement; that <br />the Larpenteur Avenue Watermain and Pumping Station Improvement Fund <br />has been duly created and provision made for the support thereof by <br />ad valorem taxes heretofore levied and special assessments to be levied <br />for the years and in aggregate amounts not less than five percent in <br />excess of sums sufficient to pay the interest thereon and the principal <br />hereof,- as they respectively become due, and additional taxes, if needed <br />- for said purpose, may be levied upon all taxable property in the Village, <br />~~~' without limitation as to rate or amount; and that the issuance of this <br />
