1l~07 <br />SPECIAL ";'FETING A4AY 3rd, 1960. <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P. Aq., the following Council Members <br />being present: Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; Paul Coppini, Trustee; George Shavor, <br />Trustee and Wm. R. Utecht, Clerk. Also present was Ethel E. White, Deputy <br />Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. Absents Willis Vdarkentien, Trustee; and Wm. E. <br />Olsen, Treasurer. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of April 28th were approved as submitted. <br />Requisitions: It was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor and unanimously <br />voted to approve the Fire Department's requisition #165 for <br />First Aid Supplies. <br />It was moved by Utecht, seconded by Coppini and unanimously <br />voted to approve the Fire Department's requisition #166 <br />ca~ling for the repair of the 2 back cushions of the Fire Truck. <br />It was moved by Utecht, seconded by Coppini and unanimously <br />voted to approve the Fire Department's requisition #167 calling <br />for grass seed, 1 brush, force pump, cellophane tape and pen. <br />W. F. H. Utecht moved that the West Falcon Heights Playground Assoc- <br />Playground iation - a non profit organization - be issued a permit, <br />Concession without charge, to operate a concession stand at the playground. <br />Stands Little League activities are planned at the playground. Seconded <br />by Nilsen and unanimously carried. <br />Vacation 20' Nilsen moved that a Special Hearing be set for 8x30 P. M., <br />alley between Daylight Saving Time, June 9thi in the Village Hall at 16lt4 <br />Holton and W. Larpenteur Avenue, to consider the petition signed by <br />Pascal: Norman L. Johnson and others. Seconded by Conpini and carried, <br />Dogs: There was a discussion regarding dog complaints, and the Deputy <br />Clerk was instructed to inform the newspapers that, due to the <br />numerous complaints received, the Council is considering invoking <br />the leashing provision of the present dog ordinance requiring <br />that all dogs be confined to their own premises or, if taken <br />off their. premises, they be leashed. and under control, <br />Correspondence Copies of Attorney Graham's letters of April 1l~th and 29th to <br />Vdard P. Gronfield, Special Assistant Attorney General, regarding <br />Highway Department Agreement, were read and. discussed. <br />Adjournment: Gn motion, the meeting adjourned at 8:115 P.
