11112 <br />work, and alley work as needed, and. proceed immediately, using <br />FA-2 Aggregate shown in the revised estimate at X8,780.00, <br />Seconded by Warkentien and carried. <br />Zh`atermain Bonestroo reported the cost of extending the watermain 1185' north <br />Tatum of Larpenteur would be X4,300,00 which included service to the <br />property line with necessary appurtenances, making the cost about <br />X800.00 per each of the five existing lots, Engineer 3onestroo <br />also stated the improvement is feasible and could be carried out as <br />proposed. <br />The following resolution was moved by Utecht, seconded by Coppini <br />and unanimously carried. <br />RESOLUTION: Whereas it is proposed to improve Tatum Street by the <br />installation of watermain from Larpenteur Avenue to a point L85' <br />north and to assess the abutting property for all or a portion of <br />the cost of the improvement, pursuant to h'Iinnesota Statutes 1129.011 <br />to 429.111, NOU`i THEP,EFOF'E PE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE 0~' FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: <br />(1) The Council will consider the improvement of Tatum Street by <br />extending water mains from Larpenteur Avenue to a point 1185' north <br />in accordance with the report of Otto Bonestroo & Associates, Inc., <br />stating that the improvement is feasible and can best be carried out <br />as proposed, and the assessment of the abutting property for all or <br />a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to P~7innesota <br />Statutes Lt29.011 to !129.111 at an estimated total cost of the im- <br />provement of X4,300.00. <br />(2) A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on <br />Thursday, June 2nd, 1960, in the Council Chambers in the Village <br />Hall at 8:00 P. P~4. DST, and the Clerk shall give Public Notice of <br />such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />Armor Coat Coppini moved that the Pday~r and the Clerk be authorized to sign the <br />Finishing contract entered into with Armor Coa+., Finishing Company, 255 Como <br />Co. Avenue, St. Paul, 3, tginnesota, for street work. Seconded by <br />Warkentien and carried, <br />Storm Bonestroo recommends that storm sewer be installed sn Area "A'+ as <br />Sewer shown on the Drainage Study. He says there is no other way to <br />correct the drainage and protect the streets. He estimates it would <br />cost approximately °610,000. There are roughly a hundred lots, which <br />would mean a cost of about $100.00 ver lot. Set up on a 10 year <br />assessment basis, it would mean the expenditure of about X10.00 <br />z~er year per lot. ?3onestroo recommends the project as feasible; <br />estimate has been prepared and is on file. <br />Tt was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously <br />voted that a Special Hering be set for Tuesday June 14th, at <br />7:30 P. PQ., DST to discuss the matter with the residents of the area. <br />Ponding Proposed Contract with Highway Department was discussed. Bonestroo <br />Area will contact Graham and Krevelin regarding same. <br />
