1430 <br />at 8:00 P. 14. nST- =end the clerk shall give published <br />notice of such hearing and improvement as required by <br />law. <br />Adoption of the above resolution was moved by Utecht, <br />seconded by Warkentien and unanimously carried. <br />Planning Letter from Dahlgren regarding meeting with the University <br />was read. ~4ayor Nilsen was authorized to write to <br />President Morrill as suggested. <br />Engineer Bonestroo reported citizens are moving barricades and <br />driving on streets while in the process of sealcoating. <br />V~tarkentien instructed the deputy clerk to tell the <br />policeman on duty to work with the street crews to <br />keep people off the barricaded streets as long as <br />necessary to insure that the street crews get a good <br />fob. <br />Parking Warkentien moved the Village ban narking on the-East <br />St. Mary's side of St. ~,4ary's from Larpenteur-North to the alley <br />and that the Village order two signs to be posted in <br />that area. Seconded by Shavor and carried unanimously. <br />Police Dog Warkentien reported Don Arndt, Police Commissioner, had <br />called him and. reported that Officer Johnson did not deem <br />it advisable to construct a kennel on his property in <br />face of his neighbors' objections.
