1517 <br />Median Strip Mr. Steinworth was in to inquire about the possibility <br />Driveway of having the median strip removed from Larpenteur Avenue <br />Spiegler Apts to permit safer access to the parking lot at the rear of <br />the Falcon Arms Apartments. Mayor Nilsen advised him that <br />the Council realized the seriousness of the situation and that <br />negotiations were under way. <br />Used Cul- Utecht moved that the X15.00 received from Otto Carley, 1610 <br />verts W. County Road B., for a 12' length of 15" used culvert be <br />accepted and put into the Village funds. Seconded by Shavor <br />and carried. <br />Larpenteur Utecht moved that the :500.00 certified check drawn on the <br />Avenue Larpenteur Avenue Watermain Rc Pumping Station Improvement <br />W?~I/PS Fund February 15, 1960 and returned by the State be accepted. <br />Seconded by Nilsen and carried. <br />Water Connec- `3rad Lemberg's letter to the Engineering Department of the <br />tion, Spano, St. Paul Water Department was read. It advised that the <br />Tatum St. cost of the 1-1/2" service should be paid by St. Paul. Lemberg <br />advised that, later, Dr. Sbano decided the 1" service would be <br />adequate for his use, and the 1-1/2" line was not put in. <br />Falcon Woods Utecht moved that Gage Construction Company's Check #19l~1, in <br />No. 2. the amount of X6251.50, made out to the Village of Falcon Heights <br />be endorsed. to Otto Bonestroo & Associates inasmuch as the <br />Village is not responsible for this bill, and the check should <br />have been made out to Bonestroo in the beginning. Seconded by <br />Warkentien and carried. <br />Licensees All requirements having been met, the following licenses were <br />issueds <br />#57 PAASTER PLUMBER'S LICENSE for Henry G. Peter, Louis H. Peter <br />Co., 286 So. Snelling Avenue, St. Paul, moved by Warkentien, <br />seconded by Shavor and carried. <br />#58 ?dASTER PLUTIIBER'S LICENSE for Axel Newman, dba Axel Newman <br />Plumbing & Heating Co., 1608 Como Ave., St. Paul, Minnesota, <br />moved by Nilsen, seconded by Utecht and carried. <br />#39 SEWER INSTALLER'S LICENSE for A. N.
