1518 <br />Streets Bonestroo e~lained that, the condition of Albert and Pascal <br /> Streets is not due to anything Armor-Coat has done.. The <br /> streets have a poor base and are settling all the time, <br /> but it is not the fault of the seal coat. It is the fault <br /> of the sewer installation. Bonestroo recommended that we <br /> pay Armor Coat.. Copnini moved that,. we nay .Armor-L'oat <br /> Company's bill as recor?~~ended by Bonestroo. Seconded <br /> by Shavor and carried. <br /> The matter of payment to Dunkley under his contract was <br /> considered. It was suggested that there be a hold-back <br /> of 20%. Shavor moved that ?hznkley be paid, less 20/, <br /> or a total of °fi9,600.00. Seconded by Nilsen and carried. <br />S`dater and Bonestroo reported that, James Sowder, Lake States Forest <br />Sewer, Laboratory, Experiment Station, the U, S. ?)enartment of Forestry, <br />Lake States working under T:~S. 3, Dickerman, Extension 297, University <br />Forest ;xneri- of ~~'innesota campus, had discussed with him the possibility <br />merit Sta. , U. of that they would desire Vi11-age Sewer and ~~~rater for a labor- <br />r:~i. campus. atory and. other buildings which may be erected on the U, <br /> of P:~. campus, near Larpenteur & Cleveland. The University <br /> has agreed, in principle, to permit them to locate the <br /> buildings on University property. The matter was dis- <br /> cussed by the Council and. Attorney Graham will contact ~~Zr. <br /> Lund to see if arrangements could not be made to bring <br /> water from Dudley and Cleveland up to this point and to <br /> connect to the Village mains ti^rith the University providing <br /> the funds. <br />Ramsey Co. Nilsen moved that we pay the balance of 9~3,~,69.65 ovred on <br />Pumping Sta. the Ramsey County ''umning; Station. Seconded by Coppini, <br /> and unanimously carried. <br />Special Nilsen moved that a meeting be set for 7:00 P. ?~. January <br />'2eeting 5. Seconded by Utecht ?rid. carried. <br />Planning There was a discussion regarding increasing the size of the <br />Board Planning Bo~~rd. Attorney Graham will call Dahlgren and see <br />what he suggests. <br />Sinking Fund Olsen reported Vre have X8,800.00 in the Sanitary Sewer <br />Sinking Fund for inve~.tment, X21,000,00 in the ~°.'atermain <br />Improvement of. 1960, No. 1, sinking fund and ~'>~,100.00 <br />in the Larpenteur A~-enue t';~atermai.n R Pumping Station <br />Fund. that should be invested.
