157l~ <br />The matter was referred to Engineer Bonestroo. <br />Probation Mayor Nilsen summarized the report from the Ramsey County <br />Report Probation Office and reported that there had been only 1 <br />Falcon Heights boy placed on probation. <br />Sanitary Sewer The Deputy Clerk was instructed to have a rubber stamp <br />and Water made reading "In an emergency involving sanitary sewer or <br />Emergencies water, call Mi. l~-505©. If no answer, call Mi. 4-5575". <br />and to stamp this message on the seller rental cards for <br />the quarter ending P~Iarch 31st. <br />Police, It was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously <br />Telephone. voted that an extension of ~ti. 1t-5050 be placed in the con- <br />ference room for use of the Police Department. <br />Sanitary Server, Attorney Graham reported the Village has started it's suit <br />Damaged Stubs. against Herbst Construction. An answer should be had in 20 <br />to 30 days. He suggests that, when. the weather permits, <br />the Village should notify Herbst to dig stubs up and check <br />them, and give them 10 days to do so. If they fail, some- <br />one else should be hired to do the work, charging Herbst. <br />Fire Ordinance Attorney Graham talked to Fire Chief Gordon Nelson, out- <br />lining definite decisions that will have to be made. He <br />sent Nelson a copy of the New Code, and upon reply from <br />Nelson, he will complete work on the new ordinance. <br />Attorney Graham has not yet heard from the University on <br />Server or Water. He should hear from them shortly but will <br />call them if he doesn't hear soon. <br />Planning Dahlgren's report on the University Plat was discussed and <br />referred to the Planning Commission with the suggestion <br />that they write Mr. Nelson a letter and tell him the lots <br />fall below present day standards. <br />Civil Defense After discussion, the matter was referred to Attorney <br />Graham who will check to see if we can enter into an arrange- <br />ment with Lauderdale. <br />Street Work After a discussion involving streets, alleys, parking lots, <br />the Intersection at Snelling and Larpenteur was brought up and <br />Engineer Bonestroo was authorized to make a summary of facts, <br />effects and recommendations, to be edited by Attorney Graham, <br />and submitted to the Council for a definite stand and future <br />action. <br />1 <br />
