~~ <br />If a person rants to plant a boulevard tree, he has to <br />have a permit and then it has to be inspected. <br />Trees have to be planted 50feet apart, at least. <br />If a tree is crippled and needs to be condemned, they <br />have an estimate of the cost made, and the property owner <br />pays 1/2 the cost of removing a tree that has to be con- <br />demned. <br />If a resident rants to have a tree removed, h® has to have <br />a permit. He can remove it himself, have the xork done by <br />a licensed operator and pay for it himself; or they rill <br />arrange to have it removed and charge the property owner. <br />If there has been storm damage and a tree has to be re- <br />moved to prevent in3ury to other people, they request an <br />emergency appropriation and if they can get it, the whole <br />cost is paid. If they do not get the emergency appropriation, <br />it is assessed against the property owner. <br /> The Deputy Clerk xas instructed to call Minneapolis, white <br /> Bear and South St. Paul to see how they handle the matter. <br /> Roof Quotations on repairing the roof xere read but no action <br /> taken.
