Olsen, <br /> Treasurer; Brad Lemberg, Engineer; and Ethel E. V~hite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy <br /> Treasurer. Absent: Willis Warkentien, Trustee. <br />P~4inutes of the Special Meeting of September 18th were aotiroved as submitted. <br />Governor's Notice advising that conference was to be held October <br />Conference on 17, 18 and 19 in the State Capitol was read. Trustee <br />?~~etr~politan Stone will. attend. *gayor Nilsen may attend Thursday, if <br />Problems: possible. The Deputy Clerk was instructed to call Mrs: <br />Berdie to ask if she could attend, the Village to pay <br />her eye penses, <br />Roof Repairs: Quotations on repairing the roof of the Village Hall were <br />reviewed. Engineer Lemberg was requested to make an <br />inspection and recommendation. <br />Fa11~~0ut Shelters The Deputy Clerk was instructed to advise Resident that <br />a building permit would be required for a fall-out-shelter, <br />but that the newspaper stated Assessors had been instructed <br />not to assess for afall-out-shelter, <br />Curb and Gutter It was recom~oended that curb and gutter should be assessed <br />on the frontage of a lot as well as the dez~th of a corner <br />lot. <br />'Sewer Trouble After discussion, it was moved by Stone, seconded by <br />15lt0 Iowa. Shavor and voted to open the sewer line at 15l~0 Iowa to <br />determine the cause of the numerous sewer blocks, the <br />Village to pay the cost from the main in the street to the <br />stub. If the trouble is not found there, the resident is <br />to pay the cost of digging up the line from the stub to the <br />house. Engineer Lemberg is to supervise the work. <br />Publ~.c Hearing, Pers. Carl F. Peterson, Victor Cooke and a representative of <br />Curb and gutter, Pure Oil Company were present. <br />Arona: <br />Clerk Mortenson opened the Hearing by reading copies of <br />Notice as published, posted and mailed to the affected parties. <br />After discussion, it was moved by Shavor, seconded by Stone <br />and unanimously voted to approve the following resolution <br />adopting the assessment: <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESS?~~NT: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by <br />law, the Village Council has met and heard and passed upon <br />all objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement <br />of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, by the .Arona <br />
