Nilsen, ~dayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; V`~illis V~arkentien, <br />Trustee; Charles P. Stone, Trustee; VAT. A. n,4ortenson, Clerk. Also present were <br />n,Q. J. Galvin, Village Attorney; Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer; Arad Lemberg, Engineer; <br />and. Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. <br />~~Sinutes of the regular meeting of October 12, 1961 were approved as submitted. <br />'4inutes of the special meeting of October 16th were approved as submitted. <br />Peieeting l:-iortenson moved tha+ the Council Meeting which would ordin- <br />Date arily have been held Thursday, November 23rd, be set for <br />Thursday, November 30th because of the Thanksgiving Holiday, <br />Seconded by Nilsen and carried, <br />Election <br />Ballots <br />Election <br />Judges <br />Time <br />Place <br />P4ortenson read Affidavit of Candidacy for the Office of <br />Justice of Peace signed by E. A. Johnson November 7, 1961. <br />The Clerk was instructed to order 1500 ballots from Rose <br />Tribune for the December 5th election. <br />It was moved. by Shavor, seconded by Stone and vo+~ed that the <br />following Election Judges be approved: <br />Precinct 1. <br />Ruth ?;art n, 1765 No. Fairview <br />Irene ~~?acGregor, 1795 No. Fairview <br />=2rs. Roy Johnson, 1816 Tatum. <br />Precinct 2. <br />Anne Carroll, 1372 PJ. Iowa <br />Edith Frenning, 1lt07 iR. Iowa. <br />~~'Irs. F. Deming, 11~1tb Idaho. <br />Precinct 3 <br />°iaxine D,iartin, <br />Grace Kroeger, <br />Clara O'Keefe, <br />18I~0 Simpson <br />1881 Holton <br />17l~3 No. Albert <br />Polling Places will be open from 12:00 noon until 8 P. "~,4. <br />Precincts 1 and 2 will vote at the Village Hall; precinct 3 <br />at the Falcon Heights Elementary School. <br />Sinking Fund Treasurer Olsen reported he had sold X2000.00 worth of <br />Larn. Ave. water- Treasury Bills for S19l~1~.67 or 28¢ over our cost and that <br />main Rc pumping the sum had been deposited in the Larpenteur Avenue <br />station Watermain/Pumping Station Sinking Fund. <br />
