1662 <br />3. A Nightwatch unit on the last pole between Idaho <br />and Iowa at the edge of the playground area. <br />!~. A Nightwatch unit on vole on Snelling Drive, <br />first pole south of Idaho. <br />Warkentien moved that the two poles formerly used at <br />the Snelling Idaho Playground be relocated at the <br />Falcon Heights Elementary School for illumination of <br />the Hockey Rink. Seconded by Shavor and carried. <br />Donation Nilsen moved that the Clerk write a letter to H. 1~. <br />Schwarten acknowledging and thanking him for his contribu- <br />tion to the Playground Fund. Seconded by Stone and carried. <br />Fencing The following resolution was moved by Shavor, seconded by <br />Stone and carried: <br />'~'dHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the playground at <br />Snelling and Idaho by fencing in accordance with previously <br />approved plans, and to pay for the improvement out of <br />General Revenue Funds, and <br />V~t~?EREAS State of ?~tinnes~ta credit for such improvement <br />should be secured, <br />NOVA '"HEREFORE, ?3E IT F?ESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COU~~CIL OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, ~~?In1*?ESOTA; <br />That the proposed improvement be referred to Ronestroo, <br />Rosene and Associates for study and that they be in- <br />structed to report to the Council with all convenient <br />speed advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to <br />whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />tivith some other improvement and the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended. <br />Plumbing The Deputy Clerk was instructed to request Jastrow, the <br />Plumbing Inspector, to insist that plumbing be insta:i.led at <br />a depth just a little deeper than the footings so there <br />will be no difficulty connecting to the sewer. <br />Rezoning V`~HEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights has proposed a comprehensive amendment and rezoning <br />of the Village amending zoning Ordinance Pao. 8, and <br />~]~?EREAS, the Village planning Commission has referred said <br />elan to the Council for Hearing and Action at 8:00 p. ~~?. <br />at a special meeting. December 7th, 1961 <br />NOPt "'HEREFORE, be it resolved by the ~,'illa~-e Council of <br />the Village of Falcon Hei~*hts that the Clerk give notice <br />of said meeting and he?ring on the comprehensive amendment <br />and zoning of the Village as required by ordinance and <br />statute.
