1672 <br />Rezoning Engineer Lemberg presented preliminary draft of suggested rezoning <br />and advised that ?Manner Howard Dahlgren would prepare and deliver <br />to the Planning Commission a map drawn to scale in time for their <br />meeting December 19th. The Deputy Clerk was instructed to send <br />rough draft of the recording of the meeting of December 7th and the <br />petition presented by Ewald Hermes to David P. Cartwright, Chairman <br />of the Planning Commission. <br />'.?ail Citizen's complaint that mail boxes were knocked down by the <br />?3oxes Ramsey County snow blow, and request that they be replaced was <br />read. Attorney Galvin will study the matter and <br />make recommendations. <br />Sewer The Deputy Clerk was instructed to send certified letter, return <br />Connec- receipt requested, to person from whom we have had no reply to <br />Lions letters regarding connection to the Village sewer. <br />Sewer The Deputy Clerk was instructed to bill resident who said he had <br />F.ental only laid sewer line and wasn't connected to House Drain. St. <br />Paul is charging the Village for this connection with their position <br />being "The line is there, ready for use and should be paid for." <br />Commercial rate on residence with over-sized garage was referred to <br />attorney Galvin who will contact St. '.'aul. <br />Falcon ~~ayor Nilsen said he had contacted trustee of Falcon Heights <br />Heights Congregational Church advising tha..t, after study, the Engineers <br />Congrega- recommend that the Council deny a building permit for any further <br />Lionel construction in the pond area at Holton and Garden until a more <br />Church positive solution for removal of storm water is completed, <br />Attorney's Attorney Galvin reported: ti"Je are certifying the Arona Avenue <br />Report Assessment. It is now on the tax rolls. He has referred. the <br />petition from the Lindig-Hawkins group to the Planning Commission. <br />Regarding the proposed law suit by the Humane Society, they had been <br />advised that as far as could be reasonably determined, there had <br />been no violation of Village Ordinances. <br />Sanitary The fallowing resolution was moved by Shavor; <br />Sewer <br />Sinking ?3E IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby author- <br />Fund ized and instructed to sell the sum of X1,000.00 U. S. Treasury <br />'3ills due 1-11-62 and sufficient of the U. S. Treasury fonds due <br />2-15-65 to make the payment due January 1, 1962 on the Sanitary <br />Sewer fonds to American National ^ank.
