It is their o-pinion that it would be wise to accept the truck, that, most, of the work could be done by members of the fire department, and that the truck could be put in operational condition for about X500.00. The follotrring resolution was moved by Stone, seconded by is2ortenson and carried unanimously: 17HEREAS the Villane Council has been offered an opportunity to purchase a used tank truck for ~1.U0 and other considera- tion from R. C. Faber and ti`tHEREAS the Fire Department has reco^?mended this purchase and V~THEREAS the Council deems it necessary to investigate and inspect said truck prior to acceptance NOVV Tr?EREFORE THE VILLAGE COU~?CIL OF FALCON HEIGHTS appoints the following members of the Council as a committee to investi- gate and inspect said truck and if said truck is in acceptable condition, accept said offer of sale and purchase it on ~oe- half of the ~-'illage: C.
