176. <br />SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 11, 1962. <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M., the following Council Members being <br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, ?~4ayor; George Shavor, Trustee; ~Nillis ~~~arkentien, <br />Trustee; VII. A. Mortenson, Clerk; and Ethel E. GF,~hite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy <br />Treasurer. Absent: Charles P. Stone, Trustee. <br />Voting Pre- After discussion, it vdas moved by 'Narkentien, seconded by Shavor <br />cincts and voted to adopt the following resolution setting boundary <br />lines for voting precincts: <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights <br />deems it necessary to create four (!t) election precincts, where <br />three now exist, and <br />r'~I-IEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights deems <br /> it necessary to change the boundaries of the existing election <br /> precincts of the Village of Falcon Heights, <br /> N04V THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the new precinct boundaries for <br /> voting in municipal, county, state and federal elections within <br /> the Village of Falcon Heights be and awe now created, anc3 the map <br /> attached hereto designates the new precincts which have the. <br /> boundaries as indicated in the fo11 owing descriptionss <br />PRECINCT 1 POLLING PLACE: Village Hall, Vi"page of Falcon Heights <br />DESCRIPTION Commencing at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Larpenteur <br />OF BOUNDARIES: Avenue; thence westerly along the middle line of Larpenteur <br /> Avenue to a point 726 feet east of Cleveland Avenue, being the <br /> easterly boundary of Precinct 4; thence northerly along said <br /> easterly boundary of Precinct ~. to ~{oselawn Avenue; thence <br /> easterly along the mir~dle line of Roselawn .Avenue to Snelling <br />• Avenue; thence southerly along the middle line of Snelling Avenue <br /> to the S. E. corner of Section 21, Town 29, Range 23, (being the <br /> south Village Limits of Falcon Heights); thence west on the <br /> south line of said section 21 to the west boundary of the <br /> 'dinnesota State Fairgrounds; thence northerly and easterly along <br /> said boundary to Fairview Avenue extended; thence northerly <br /> along the mi~'dle line of Fairview Avenue to the point of beginning. <br />PRECINCT 2 POLLING PLACE: Village Hall, Village of Falcon Heights <br />DESCRIPTION Commencing at the intersection of S-~elling Avenue and Larpenteur <br />OF BOUNDARIES: Avenue; thence easterly along the middle line of Larpenteur <br /> Avenue to Hamline Avenue; thence southerly along the middle line <br /> of Hamline Avenue to Hoyt Avenue; thence westerly along the <br /> middle line of Hoyt Avenue to Snelling Avenue; thence northerly <br /> along the middle line of Snelling Avenue to the point of beginning. <br />PRECINCT 3 POLLING PLACE: Falcon Heights School <br />DESCRIPTION Commencing at the intersection of Larpenteur Avenue and Snelling <br />OF BOUNDARIES: Avenue, thence northerly along the middle line of Snelling Avenue <br /> to Roselawn Avenue; thence easterly along the middle line of <br /> Roselawn Avenue to Hamline Avenue; thence southerly along the <br />
