1807 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Crawford Ave. Galvin reported the Notice of the Assessment Hearing on <br />Improvements the Crawford Avenue Improvement will be published and his <br />office has sent notices to persons affected. <br />Playgrounds: Warkentien moved that the Engineer be authorized to go <br />ahead and have the Shelter for the Iowa Playground constructed <br />as per plans outlined to the Council at a cost of approximately <br />$350.00 to 4375.00. Seconded by Stone anal carried. <br />tiYarkentien moved that Engineer Lemberg be authorized to buy <br />the lumber and other material necessary to constr1zct 1 <br />Hockey Rink 80' x 150' for the Idaho Snelling Playground and <br />1 - 80' x 120' for the Falcon Heights Playground at the lowest <br />price he can obtain from the four sources he is going to contact. <br />Seconded by Stone and carried. <br />Budget Lemberg submitted copies of Engineer's Report for 1962 and <br />1963 broposed budget to all members of the Council. He will <br />send 5 extra copies to Mrs. betty Ernst for the League of <br />Women Voters. <br />League of r~4rs. ?ietty Ernst was present to represent the Falcon Heights <br />Women Voters: League of Women Voters. <br />Cross walk Lemberg was authorized to have the sign which is set out in <br />the middle of the street as the cross-walk repaired. <br />Special Meeting: A special meeting was set for 7 to 9 P. M. Friday, October <br />12. Budget should be finalized after the Crawford Avenue <br />Bills: <br />Adjournment: <br />On motion by Stone, seconded by Mortenson, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br />Theo. H.
