1825 <br />REGULAR I~iEETING NOVE~",RBER 1l~, 1962 <br />"fleeting was called to order at 7 P.Id., the following Council ~dembers being <br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; W. A, rQortenson, Clerk; George J. Shavor, <br />Trustee and Charles P. Stone, Trustee. Also present were ~~~~. J. Galvin, <br />Village Attorney, V~lm. E. Olsen, Village Treasurer; Brad Lemberg, Village <br />Engineer; and Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. <br />It was moved by Stone, seconded by Shavor and voted to approve the minutes <br />of the regular meeting of October 25th. <br />It was moved by Stone, seconded by Nilsen and voted to approve the <br />minutes of the Special TZeeting of October 26th. <br />~~ioody Invest- Their request for information regarding collections <br />ment Co. and bonded indebtedness was referred. to R4ortenson who <br />turned it over to Treasurer Olsen for reply. <br />Licenses: All requirements having been met, it was moved by <br />?~~iortenson, seconded by Shavor and voted to issue the <br />following licenses: <br />#167 ?~4aster C~as Installer's License to Stuart L. <br />Burniece, V. P., Burniece's, Inc., l~1~32 Chicago Ave., <br />S., ~;4inneanolis, 7, Minn. <br />#53 Sewer Installer's License to Walter A. Hermes, <br />Rosetown Sanitation Service, 1769 Pleasant, St. <br />Paul, 13, Minn. <br />Voting Letter from the County Commissioners concurring with <br />A.4achines: the recommendation of the County Auditor that all <br />municipalities not using voting machines, acquire <br />them in the interest of accuracy, was read. <br />Trees: Wm. "iorin of the ?~2orin Tree Service eras present. <br />He advised they had a day's work left on Simpson. <br />He reported on trees that needed cabling and removal. <br />He was asked to submit a list of suggestions to Dr. <br />Hard, and ask that Dr. Hard inspect the trees listed <br />and make his recommendations to the Council. Morin <br />has hauled the tree trimmings to the University lot <br />for burning by the Fire Department at a time to be <br />determined by Fire Chief Nelbig. <br />It was moved by Shavor, seconded by Stone and voted <br />that AForin Tree Service be paid X295.10 as per bill <br />submitted for vrork done on Simpson. <br />?florin quoted a price of :1.1.35 each for trimming, <br />rassing, dead wooding, all large cuts to be painted, <br />75 trees on Arona. <br />~?ayor Nilsen moved that the Village enter a contract <br />with ?~Zorin for the work on Arona, south of Ruggles to <br />
