MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 26, 1986 <br />PAGE 3 <br />delete reference to State Statute, subject to review and approval by the <br />city attorney. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-13 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-86-9 RELATING TO <br />INDEMNIFICATION OF CITY OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES <br />PARK AND RECREATION MINUTES OF MARCH 10, 1986 <br />Hard questioned the Commissionts policy on prohibiting rental of hockey <br />rinks during open rink hours and Ciernia explained that persons coming to <br />use the rinks during open hours were displeased to arrive and find the <br />rink was reserved and in use. Hard also commented on possible future <br />plans for University Grove Park which are being formulated by the <br />Commission with assistance from the Grove Association. Ciernia stated the <br />sub-committee has been provided with a map and are to present some ideas <br />appropriate for the space. <br />SALARY INCREASE FOR VINCE WRIGHT APPROVED <br />Barnes informed Council that Public Works Foreman Vince Wright has <br />completed the 6 months probation set forth by Council following a <br />determination that his performance was not satisfactory, that his <br />performance has improved, and an increase might be granted. Following a <br />short discussion Baldwin moved, seconded by Chenoweth, approval of a 3~ <br />salary increase. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Ciernia, that the meeting be adjourned at <br />9:02 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Tom Baldwin, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />.-~ <br />Dewan B.
