MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 25, 1986 <br />PAGE 2 <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Hard, denial of a tree removal license for <br />Highland Park Tree Service due the ownerts failure to appear at the <br />meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REVIEW OF ADDITIONAL DATA ON STORM DRAINAGE UTILITY <br />Council briefly reviewed and discussed additional data on a proposed storm <br />drainage utility as prepared by the engineer (report dated June 25, 1986). <br />No action was taken <br />ASSESSMENT HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR CRAWFORD ALLEY IMPROVEMENTS AND HAMLINE <br />AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Chenoweth, a public hearing on Crawford Alley <br />assessments be scheduled for 7:05 p.m., August 27, 1986. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Chenoweth, a public hearing on Hamline Avenue <br />assessments be scheduled for 8:00 p.m. August 27, 1986. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />BILLBOARD UPDATE - DEFERRED TO 7/9/86 MEETING <br />The attorney is in the process of preparing a written update on the <br />billboard on the shopping center at Larpenteur and Snelling, and the <br />matter will be discussed at the July 9th meeting. <br />CITY TO PARTICIPATE IN HUD RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM <br />Following a short discussion Hard moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of <br />participation in the HUD Rental Rehabilitation Program. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />REVIEW OF PROPOSID PRELIMINARY DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH STUART <br />CORPORATION - RELATING TO SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LARPENTEUR/SNELLING <br />Council discussed the document prepared by the attorney making suggestions <br />amending the development agreement pertaining to redevelopment of the <br />southeast corner of Larpenteur/Shelling. Wallin moved, seconded by Hard, <br />approval of the document contingent upon attorney's approval of changes <br />suggested by Council. Motion carried unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF PLANS FOR STRATFORD OFFICE PARK <br />Planner Uban informed he had discussed the plan with the Stratford <br />architect and concerns expressed by the Planner in a memorandum dated June <br />13th, and recommendations made by the engineer in a report dated June <br />25th, had been resolved. Developer Frank Kubitschek explained that since <br />the buildings are condominiums, the exteriors and site plans will be <br />consistent with the plan submitted, but each building interior will vary <br />depending upon the office needs of each client. Therefore, they are <br />asking for construction approval on the site and the shell of the <br />buildings, but individual building interior plans will be submitted prior <br />to constructioh. <br /> <br />
