Subdivision means a described tract of land, which is to be, or has been divided into two or <br />more lots or parcels for the purpose of transfer of ownership, building development, or for tax <br />assessment purposes. The term includes resubdivision and where it is appropriate to the context, <br />relates to either the process of subdividing, or to the land subdivided, or to the development for <br />which it is being subdivided. <br />Substandard structure means any building or structure lawfully existing on the effective <br />date of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived or any amendment thereto which <br />building or structure does not conform with the regulations, including dimensional standards, for <br />the district in which it is located after the effective date of the ordinance from which this chapter <br />is derived or such amendment. <br />Supper club means a building with facilities for the preparation and serving of meals and <br />where meals are regularly served at tables to the general public. The building must be of <br />sufficient size and design to permit the serving of meals to not less than 50 guests at one time. <br />Intoxicating liquors may be sold on-sale and live entertainment and/or dancing shall be <br />permitted. <br />Swimming pool means any enclosure in ground or above ground on private property having <br />a water surface area exceeding 100 square feet and a water depth of not less than 1½ feet. <br />Tanning salons means establishments primarily engaged in providing tanning services to the <br />public through the use of tanning beds, and other tanning equipment. <br />Tavern or bar means a building with facilities for the serving of beer, wine, set-ups and <br />other alcoholic beverages and may include short order foods. <br />Television broadcasting stations means establishments primarily engaged in broadcasting <br />visual programs by television to the public, except cable and other pay televisions services. <br />Included in this industry are commercial, religious, educational, and other television stations. <br />Also included are establishments primarily engaged in television broadcasting and which <br />produce taped television program materials. <br />Therapeutic massage enterprise means a person who operates a business which hires only <br />certified therapeutic massage therapists to provide therapeutic massage to the public. The <br />owner/operator of a therapeutic massage enterprise need not be certified as a therapeutic massage <br />therapist if he or she does not at anytime practice or administer massage to the public. <br />Tower means any ground- or roof-mounted pole, spire, structure, or combination thereof <br />including supporting lines, cables, wires, braces, and masts, intended primarily for the purpose of <br />mounting an antenna, meteorological device, or similar apparatus abovegrade. <br />Tower, multi-user means a tower that is designed to accommodate the antennas of more than <br />one telecommunications provider, personal wireless service provider or governmental entity. <br />Tower site means a location on which is or may be located one or more telecommunication <br />radio or television antennas available for connection and use by any person, firm or corporation. <br />Transportation terminal means truck, taxi, air, bus, train, and mass transit terminal and <br />storage area, including motor freight (solid and liquid) terminal. <br />Truck stop means a motor fuel station devoted principally to the needs of tractor-trailer units <br />and trucks, and which may include eating and/or sleeping facilities. <br />Urban farm means the production, distribution and sale of food, excluding the production of <br />poultry, livestock and bees.
