MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 8, 1987 <br />PAGE 2 <br />unanimously recommended by the Planning Commission at their July 6th <br />meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br />DESIGNATION OF STREETS TO BE POSTED "NO PARKING" DURING STATE FAIR <br />Baldwin explained the apartment dwellers on Arona have no place to park <br />except on the street and suggested some kind of permit system be <br />instigated to allow them to park on streets in the area during the period <br />the streets are posted "No Parking" during the State Fair. Wiessner was <br />directed to contact those apartment owners and work out an appropriate <br />parking system. Hard moved, seconded by Wallin, posting the following <br />streets "No Parking" during the State Fair: (1) All of Northome Addition, <br />water side, (2) all of Hollywood Court including alley, (3) St. Mary's, <br />Fry, Maple Knoll Drive and Garden Avenue west of Snelling on both sides, <br />(4) all streets north of Larpenteur, between Snelling and Hamline running <br />to Roselawn, except Holton, Albert and Sheldon north of Ruggles, water <br />side, (5) Tatum 1,300 feet north of Larpenteur, (6) Lindig on water side <br />including the cul-de-sac, (7) Larpenteur Avenue from Snelling to <br />Cleveland, and (8) Snelling Drive. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION AMENDING THE SECTION OF THE CABLE JOINT POWERS <br />AGREEMENT RELATING TO THE VOTING STRUCTURE AND FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF <br />THE MEMBERS <br />Baldwin presented the proposed resolution and explained Falcon Heights' <br />Cable Commissioner, Ron Eggert, encourages approval as it will reduce the <br />City's financial contribution. Hard moved, seconded by Wallin, adoption <br />of Resolution R-87-28. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-87-28 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING BY SUBSTITUTION ARTICLE VI, SECTION <br />1 AND ARTICLE X, SECTION 3 OF THE NORTH SUBURBAN CABLE <br />COMMISSION JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />ADMINISTRATION OF A CABLE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Hard, adjournment at 7:59 P.M.
