MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 14, 1987 <br />PAGE 2 <br />Ramsey County and the City of Lauderdale. <br />COUNCIL MEETING STANDING RULES APPROVED <br />Ciernia presented the revised draft of the standing rules, after which <br />Council made minor changes and approved the document. <br />CITY TO ISSUE RFP FOR SELECTION OF CITY'S LEGAL COUNSEL <br />Council discussed the process recommended by Wiessner for selecting the <br />city's legal services, made some minor changes, and directed Wiessner to <br />proceed with mailing a request for proposal to interested legal firms. <br />ALLEY UPDATE - BETWEEN LARPENTEUR AND CALIFORNIA, HAMLINE TO ALBERT <br />Wiessner informed that Progressive Contractors, Inc. has begun repair work <br />on the alley drainage. <br />PAYMENT TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR REMAINDER OF HAMLINE AVENUE CONSTRUCTION <br />COSTS AUTHORIZED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Chenoweth, final payment to Ramsey County to <br />complete the city's obligation for the reconstruction of Hamline Avenue, <br />Hoyt to Larpenteur, and the alley. Motion carried unanimously. <br />$200.00 DONATION TO PARK BUGLE AUTHORIZED <br />Hard moved authorization of a $200.00 donation to the Park Bugle. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />CITY TO CONTRACT FOR ANIMAL CONTROL WITH CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />Wallin moved approval of the animal control contract with the City of New <br />Brighton as recommended by Wiessner. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Chenoweth moved adjournment at 9:20 P.M.
