MINUTES <br />JUNE 22, 1988 <br />PAGE 2 <br />REGARDING PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR RESTAURANTS AND OTHER FOOD <br />RELATED BUSINESSES <br />Baldwin opened the public hearing at 7:15P.M. and presented the <br />Affidavit of Publication. There being no one in attendance <br />wishing to be heard the hearing was closed at 7:18 P.M. <br />Following a brief discussion of the amendment proposed by City <br />Planner John Uban, Ciernia moved adoption of Ordinance 0-88-13. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE 0-88-13 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9-13.04 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />RELATING TO RETAIL PARKING <br />SALE OF OLD SQUAD CAR (1985 DODGE DIPLOMAT) AUTHORIZED <br />Wiessner explained that two bids had originally been received on <br />the squad car, one from the State Fair and the other from <br />Beltline Motor Center of Wausau, Wisconsin; however, the State <br />Fair has withdrawn their bid. Chenoweth moved approval of the <br />sale to Beltline Motor Center at a price of $1,707 (vehicle only, <br />stripped of equipment). Motion carried unanimously. <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT APPROVED <br />Bush moved that the Mayor and Administrator be authorized to sign <br />the proposed Mutual Aid Agreement as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />LINDA M. TREEFUL DESIGNATED AS CITY FORESTER <br />Wallin moved the designation of Linda M. Treeful as City Forester <br />effective July 1, 1988 to replace Scott Enebak who is moving from' <br />the area. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9-2.02 OF THE <br />CODE RELATING TO DIMENSIONALLY SUB-STANDARD BUILDINGS SCHEDULED <br />FOR 7/13/88 <br />Council scheduled a public hearing for 7:15 P. M., July 13, 1988 <br />to consider a proposed amendment relating to dimensionally <br />sub-standard buildings. <br />CHANGES IN JOB TITLES, LINES OF RESPONSIBILITY, AND POSITION <br />RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOME STAFF MEMBERS <br />After thoroughly reviewing the proposed changes in job <br />descriptions, titles, and lines of responsibility, Council agreed <br />to the following recommended changes: (1) Title change from <br />Clerk Administrator to City Adminstrator, Executive Secretary to <br />City Clerk, and Deputy Clerk to Finance Manager/Administrative <br />Assistant to better reflect the actual duties. A few minor <br />changes in the job descriptions were also approved. <br />~~ <br />
