MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 12, 1989 <br />G <br />Baldwin called the meeting to order at 7:07 P. M. <br />PRESENT <br />Ciernia, Wallin, Bush and Baldwin. <br />S. Chenoweth, Gedde and Maurer. <br />Also present were Wiessner, <br />ABSENT <br />P. Chenoweth (arrived later). <br />ADDENDUM TO CONSENT AGENDA <br />Council approved the addition of Item E-7, Cancellation of Check <br />#2212 0, to the Consent Agenda. <br />MINUTES OF MARCH 8, 1989 APPROVED <br />Council approved the March 8, 1989 Minutes as presented. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />The following Consent Agenda was approved: <br />~s <br />1. Issued in Error. <br />J <br />REMOVAL OF "NO PARKING" SIGNS AT NORTH END OF ST. MARY'S ST. <br />APPROVED <br />Baldwin explained that the "No Parking" signs were installed to <br />protect the neighborhood from overflow parking from Ciatti's <br />Restaurant and that it was a temporary solution. He then <br />presented requests from Walter and Barbara McCoy, 1756 St. <br />Mary's, and Avelyn Hooker, 1756 St. Mary's, that Council <br />consider removing the signs to allow residents to park on the <br />street. Wiessner explained that Ciatti's have negotiated with <br />the owners of Falcon Center for 25 employee parking spaces and <br />are now negotiating for approximately 15 customer parking spaces <br />in the south shopping center lot adjacent to Ciatti's.
