MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 9, 1989 <br />Baldwin called the meeting to order at 7:15 P. M. <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Bush, P. Chenoweth, Ciernia, and Wallin. Also present <br />were Gedde, Maurer, Wiessner and S. Chenoweth <br />MINUTES OF JULY 2 6, 19 89 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of July 26, 1989 as presented. <br />ADDENDUM TO POLICY AGENDA AND CONSENT AGENDA <br />Council approved the following additions to the Agenda: <br />(1) Consent Agenda: Item E (7), Planning Commission Minutes of <br />August 7, 1989, and (2) Policy Agenda: Item F(6), Sidewalk <br />Repair at City Hall. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />The following Consent Agenda was approved: <br /> 1. Disbursements <br />a. General Disb ursements through 8/2/89, $26,137.34 <br /> b. Payroll, 7/15/89-7/31/89, $11,226.78 <br /> 2. Cancellation of Check #22507 <br /> 3. Commission Minutes <br /> a. Planning Commission Minutes of 7/10/89 <br /> b. Solid Waste Commission Minutes of 7/13/89 <br /> 4. MNDOT Agreement <br /> 5. Resolution R-89-19 Authorizing Final Payment to <br /> Bituminous Roadways for 1989 Sealcoating <br /> 6. Licenses: <br /> Schreiber, Mullaney Construction #359 <br /> Superior Roofing #358 <br /> Dependable Heating & Air Conditioning #357 <br /> Furniture PLus #360 <br /> 7. Planning Commission Minutes of August 7, 1989 <br />ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE AMENDING CODE RELATING TO FALSE ALARMS <br />Gedde briefly reviewed the proposed amendment and explained that <br />the purpose of the amendment is to provide for assessment of <br />unpaid false alarm fees. <br />Wallin moved adoption of Ordinance 0-89-13 which carried <br />unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE 0-89-13 <br />~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-5.01, SUBD. b OF THE <br />CODE ESTABLISHING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR UNPAID FALSE <br />ALARM FEES <br />
