That the notice of said election be in substantially the <br />following form; <br />VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA ` <br />NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br />April 26, 1949 <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That a special election will be held <br />in and for the Village of Falcon Heights, Minne sofa, on the 26th <br />day of April, 1949, at the L & L Appliance Co., 1534 ~, Larpenteur <br />Avenue, in said Village; that ..the polls will be open between the <br />hours of four o~clock P.M. and eight otcloek F.M.; that at said <br />election there will be submitted to the electors of said Village <br />to be by them voted upon at said election, the following questions: <br />1. Shall the Village of Falcon Heights, Minne- <br />sota, issue and sell its negotiable coupon. bonds in the <br />amount of 40,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, <br />for the purpose of constructing a combination village hall <br />and fire hall, such bonds to mature serially and to be in <br />such denominations as the Council may determine, and to <br />bear interest at the lowest rate at which the bonds can be <br />sold, not exceeding six per a®nt per annum? <br />2. Shall the Village of Falcon Heights, Minne- <br />so~a, issue and sell its negotiable coupon bonds in the <br />amount of X5,000.00, or so much thereof as may be necessary, <br />for the purpose of purchasing fire equipment, said bonds to <br />mature serially and to be in such denominations as the <br />Council may determine, and to bear interest at the lowest <br />rate at which the bonds can be sold, not exceeding six per <br />cent per annum? <br />Dated this / 6~, day of April, 1949. <br />By order of the Village Council. <br />llage lerk <br />6, That the Council meet as a Canvassing Board on the 2S th <br />day of April, 1949, at 7:3 0 o~clock P.M., for the purpose of <br />canvassing the returns and results of said election, and that this <br />resolution be deemed and considered as notice of said meeting to <br />all members of the Council. <br />-3- <br /> <br />
